I was so happy when Pewdiepie revived the game after years of it slowly dwindling in popularity. Now i look at it like im a disappointed parent. Dream and his buddies made the games reputation fall so dramatically. Im still grateful for those years before the DreamSMP when me and my pals would play on Realms almost every day during the summer. I miss those years. I still hang out with my friends irl, but i miss the nights where i used to stay up and grind xp for hours.

No community really ruined minecraft for me because the servers I went to were actually chill and I play single player most of the time, just now I got bored of it and have some important stuff to do right now (not including my yt comments and stuff) maybe someday I'll return and build for fun

You can still play minecraft without being a part of the "community", just playing singleplayer or some hypixel with friends isn't harmless, what's happening to minecraft is happening to every game, and there aren't bad updates, 1.20 is really liked by the community and it's really good

I feel like the less there was in Minecraft, the more I liked it. Though this is just my opinion. And don't even think about the textures on some of the new stuff.
