Fun fact: Janelle revealed a few years ago that someone in the jury who voted for Maggie meant to vote for Ivette but made a mistake and put the wrong key in 💀 But yes, I agree. I think Maggie should have won.

There isn't one right way to play Big Brother, and think what makes Jun's game amazing is that she recognized she wasn't liked because of how she carried herself, and that Alison was the only person less liked than her in the entire house. Her and Alison both realizing their best shot at winning was to be next to one another at the end was a really smart and unlikely move, which only happened because both of them played the game without a shred of emotion. If Jun actually cared about loyalty and social strategy in the slightest she wouldn't have linked up with Alison and loses final two, if she even manages to get there, especially since one of the reasons people voted for her to win is because she didn't really pretend like she was close to the people she was going to vote out, which made her game more respectable to the jury.
41:30 Andy’s explained this in some podcasts (I can’t recall which ones)-basically, winning an HoH in a week where the nominees were relatively safe choices endeared himself to the rest of the house and solidified himself as a non-threat who wouldn’t make bold movies.
yes! i've heard him say this and i still think it was a risky move. helen was hardcore pushing for him to nominate mccranda and in him not listening to her, alerted her and elissa to the fact that andy was closer with them. in the end it didn't matter which is why i love his game, but i still think the risk was not worth taking.
@@bigbrotherboy I recall him also mentioning that an HoH win could also be a talking point in a final speech, so there’s that. It was a calculated risk. Considering his eventual win, I’m personally more inclined to believe that the risk was worth it.
yes it added to his resumé in a way. i just think if he didn't win it, he would've had the same result and it would have been a little less messy. again, didn't matter in the end and i get his rationale, but i think he should've just chilled.
Tyler lost because of a tactical error. He needed Angela in the final 2 because everyone in the jury loved Kaycee and she forged better relationships with those people. I agree 100% that Tyler should’ve won though. I was PISSED when Kaycee won! 😂
also more on paul, the reason why i think paul should never have won any of his seasons is also cause of his terrible jury management and jury management does matter, you can't expect to win when you lie in your goodbye messages and think u can gaslight the jury in the end, like that's literally insane, that just proves how terrible of a player paul is, he thinks he can win by gaslighting the jury and lying to them and trying to play the "good guy" to the jury, that also just shows how much of a lack of self awareness he truly has, and someone with that little self awareness does not deserve to win.
Also if you're given the season on a silver platter, with twist after twist benefitting you, and you still can't win in a jury vote against a jackass who was banging pots and pans, you deserve to lose I'm sorry. If Paul could own his game, he's a 2X winner.
Holly did not have a single winning final 2 out of the entire final 6. So I disagree she should have won when in fact she had no winning scenario after Jess was voted out WAY before the end.
@@tajneeley She doesn't win against any of the end gamers in a Final 2. She loses to Cliff, loses badly to Tommy, loses to Christie. She could beat Nicole if she cut Jackson but since I doubt she would be willing to do that, she likely loses even to her. Her only winning chance of anyone who even made it anywhere near the end was cutting Jackson and taking Nicole specifically.
I disagree about Dan’s funeral. He had to get up to Frank without people believing it was a strategic conversation. With the speech he’s able to convince the houseguests that he’s basically done playing the game, so when he is talking to Frank most of the people thought he was just apologizing. As for turning on Ian too late, I vehemently disagree with that too. Keeping the quackpack together and strong is substantially more valuable than playing for a Frank HoH. If Frank loses the HoH when he was completely outnumbered, then Dan has no need to turn on Ian. If he had turned on Ian for the one situation of Frank winning, and Frank loses, he gives Frank information to blow up the alliance, blow up Dan’s game, and probably put Dan on the outside instead of a power position. Unless you’re using hindsight I don’t even think Dan should consider turning on the alliance that early
Jury management is EQUALLY as important as competitions and social strategy! Paul lost twice because of jury management! Also, Dani was Cody’s ally more than she was Nicole’s in BB22
I agree and disagree, sometimes there’s nothing more you can do. Dan in 14 should have won but they refused to vote for a former winner. I hate bitter jury’s because again It’s a game. No way you vote josh over Paul, it sucks knowing you are the better player and losing. Like Jocasta voting for Cody over Derrick over “fake praying” that’s not on jury management that’s on someone being bitter over something that was probably a misunderstanding. 1:08:10 I think we saw in the finale and post-season that Matt really didn’t have a lot of intentionality in his game play. I still think Cirie was easily the best player on the cast, and if it wasn’t for Felicia picking her for the kayak punishment Cirie could possibly have held onto her position and won the game. Cirie being completely out of commission for game talk for those 48 hours is what enabled Cory to wake some people up just long enough to flip the vote on Izzy. Also if Jared wasn’t there anchoring her game.
Big Brother 7 by far the best player was Will. Boogie was willing to go to Final 2 with Will and lose badly. In fact it is what he wanted to do. Will misplayed the Final 4 round which is why he lost, and he deserves blame for that, but still nobody else even has a case. I don't even know who I would pick as 2nd best player of that season. Probably Danielle in fact, since Janelle and Boogie's games were both massively flawed, and don't even get me started on Erika who I am going to talk about now. In fact I could see a case Danielle should have won the season in that she has a great shot if her closest ally (dumb dumb Erika) does not evict her at Final 6 for no good reason, and sabotoging her own game as well. I strongly disagree with Erika being the one who should have won that season. Yes she made a great play in getting Will out and outplayed Will that round but that was literally the only good thing about her entire game. The rest of her game sucked, and evicting Danielle at Final 6 was a STUPID, stupid move for her. Plus she gets destroyed in a jury vote by the entire Final 4 (Will, Janelle, and Boogie all beat her 7-0 or 6-1) and evicted her only winning Final 2 Chicken George at Final 5 too, another super dumb move. So yeah no way in heck it is Erika. I would have for sure voted Boogie in the Final 2 over her, and I hate Mike Boogie.
I agree with most of your takes, but Boogie (and I’m not a fan of chill town) deserved the win, if not him Will, I even think Janelle played better than Erika. Erika had no winning scenario a part from probably Chicken George, she evicted her strongest ally in Danielle and was almost taken out for many rounds but got lucky at the last minute, so, using your evaluation for other seasons I just don’t understand how Erika played the better game.
Erika had a good social game and one (obvious) strategic move, but her Jury management was terrible. Getting rid of Danielle was a horrible move and she was never going to get her vote after that. Will (and by extension of him, Boogie) outplayed everyone. Will was onto Erika’s game early and wanted her out before Howie, but he relented because Boogie wanted to keep her. His only real mistake was dropping the ball with Janelle at the end.

Great video, but i will say this: Jeff shouldve won bb13 (i think, the season where he messed up cus the shoe flew out. If that shoe dont fly out he most likely trailblazes everyone. Also the Shelly vs Jeff blowup if that doesnt happen then Jeff also probably wins)
It is hard to agree Monica should have won since she had virtually no strategy. And while yes she beats everyone in a jury vote she realistically had almost no likelihood of making the end. The only reason she made Final 3 and wasn't the Final 4 boot was she won final 4 HOH which was a huge upset as she isn't good at comps, otherwise is booted there. So she would have had to win back to back HOHs, again being someone not good at challenges, or she goes home. She also goes home at Final 5 if Bunky doen't overplay badly the days before and make himself a target of his own allies, otherwise she goes home there too, and that is something she had nothing to do with.
I would say Jason should have won Big Brother 3. He had a great game except his one super dumb move to boot Ami over Lisa, but still would go with him. Not Danielle, as her jury management SUCKED, but worse than that she sunk herself by bringing both Lisa and Jason to Final 3, ensuring her loss no matter what, where she could have won bringing an Ami or Gerry. And not Lisa as she was a bit too UTR for my liking, and also is the certain evictee if she doesn't win final HOH.
I would argue that her bringing anyone to the final 3 is not as dumb back then as it is now, as we only know this now because of hindsight. She brought people that made sense to bring at the time and had no real frame of reference for who would and wouldn’t be smart to bring.

Then proceeds to vote Ami out and go to Final 3 with Jason and Lisa AFTER saying that in her own confessional, LOL! Also there is no way anyone can not see Jason and Lisa were both super loved by the cast, and pretty strong players to boot. While obviously seeing Ami was hated by nearly the entire cast, sucked badly at the game, and had already been voted out. "Lisa had great gameplay" Lisa's gameplay: 10% Showmance with Eric 90% Crying Jokes aside, despite I always thought, and still think, that Lisa was nothing but a generic card board cut out for a tampon commercial, she did do 2 great moves (and argueably the only moves she actually did) 1- Not voting for Eric back (thank fucking god) 2- Clocking Jason and Danielle are a secret alliance in the final HoH and grinds her teeth and win that comp. But other than that, my opinion is unchanged. I think she is one of the most generic and insipid winner the show ever had.
Season 9 is cracked. I love it lol but I understand if everyone isn't into trashy tv. I always say Season 9 is Big Brother’s answer to Survivor Gabon. Hot mess from start to finish but so entertaining (for me 😅) I love that someone like Rachel Reilly won this show, but her season was absolutely rigged. Thanks for doing an extensive list. My thoughts on some of these. Big Brother 3- I can see saying Danielle should have won but I totally disagree Lisa is "overrated". Since nobody even praises Lisa, when you hear her talked about it is always "Danielle was robbed" so how can Lisa be overrated when she isn't even praised as a winner. I actually think Lisa is a bit underrated. I can see the argument Danielle was robbed but Lisa had a great social game and also convinced Danielle and Jason to make one of the dumbest moves ever in booting freaking Ami over her at Final 4. Also Danielle sunk herself by bringing both Jason and Lisa, the two biggest jury threats in the whole house, to Final 3, so she deserves some blame there. She basically drew herself dead. Big Brother 8- I agree Jameka wins if she makes the end but she was never making the end barring a huge comp run, and she isn't even good at comps. I would say Erik considering he wins the season easily if he isn't forced to be Americas Player and do things bad for his own game constantly. Big Brother 11- Jessie got 9th, not 10th. Big Brother 19- I agree Paul has sucky jury management which his delusional fans will never accept. However Josh also had really bad jury management, he banged pots and pans just to annoy people. And Paul had a much more dominant game, so since both had horrible jury management, would have voted for Paul for sure.
Other thing about Big Brother 6 is even if Janelle made it to Final 2 she was never winning because the Friendship him the majority in the Jury. I know people love the Sovereign Six but they really screwed themselves because of bad gameplay moves from Kaysar and Howie specifically. Janelle's only win condition is if she somehow made it to the end with Howie or James.
And no idea how Holly would ever win the season without Jackson. If she goes to the end with Tommy and Christie ( which is unlikely as they would taken people like Analyse, Jack, Nick, Jess over her) they take each other over her, and both easily best her in a jury vote, especially Tommy who is who Holly probably takes if she wins final HOH in that group.
no fr. i genuinely think it came down to their final speeches. i think matt was trying to be somewhat loyal to jag but jag wasn't the same way. matt played it more as a team effort (but did point out it wouldn't have been a team effort without him saving jag). he should've pointed out more why his game was better than jag's all around, all season. if he would've explained how much better his game was literally up until a week or two after jag got saved by him, i think he would've won
In season 21, Nicole and Cliff should have voted out Holly at the final 5. If that happens, there is literally no way Jackson wins. He pissed off so many people, that Holly was the only person in the final 5 who would lose to Jackson. If Tommy is there to compete in the final veto, I would say there is a good chance that Tommy could beat Jackson in that final veto and evict Jackson. Suppose Jackson still wins the veto, I would imagine Jackson would evict Tommy (meaning that Cliff is safe). If that happens, Cliff and Nicole enter the final 3 together. If Jackson loses the final HOH, it is Cliff and Nicole in the final 2. Suppose Jackson manages to win that final HOH. Jackson is now a kingmaker. Jackson is not gonna win, he is voting between Nicole or Cliff as to which one he will sit next to when he gets second place.

Tommy might well try and win it. Either way I expect Tommy to beat Jackson in the veto, Nicole nearly did, and Jackson admits after the veto was played he thinks Tommy would have won it over him. Tommy could evict either Jackson or Cliff, not sure, but lets guess he evicts Jackson. Final 3- Tommy probably wins final HOH in a Final 3 of Nicole, Cliff, Tommy. Tommy takes Nicole and wins. If it is Jackson, Tommy, Nicole, I am not sure which of Jackson or Tommy win final HOH. Then if it is Tommy for sure takes Nicole and again wins, while Jackson I am not sure who he takes, it is probably 50/50, but I agree he likely loses regardless, although Nicole it is a close vote as Jack, Analyse, Holly, and probably Nick all vote Jackson over Nicole, and Tommy and Christie become the swings.

@@bigbrotherboyI watched the first 17 seasons of bb from the end of 2020 to beginning 2023, and then started survivor. I was also a little hesitant at first, and I started from Borneo the first season. But I’ve come to love survivor more than bb. It’s a step up from bb, when it comes to pretty much every area (characters, competitions, change of setting). The intros are also great as the song is modified to fit in with whatever country or island they’re filming in. I would start with a season like Pearl Islands or China.
I agree no way was Diane the beat player of Big Brother 5. Drew. Karen, Nakomis, were all better players than her that season. She goes home on her own boyfriend's HOH at Final 6 if she doesn't win veto, LOL! Karen and Cowboy were both evicting her over Marvin apparently.
Thanks for the longform content that does not rely on visuals, I just took a nap listening and then listened to the second half again. Would like to see the same for BBCAN if you watch that as well. BB17: If you look at how the comps went down in BB17 you can see that Vanessa was safe from winning competitions or from closest ally winning and never really had to operate from a position of other side winning comp except for in Becky HOH week. Probably still deserve to win but often overrated in this particular aspect. BB2: Nicole+Hardy seems like the final 2 that would usually happen and I'm guessing that they would give the win to Hardy but I'm not sure. I still think Will should have won overall, though I can see your points. BB5: You probably should have mentioned Karen but I can understand the Drew pick BB11: Surprised you didn't mention Kevin very much. He would be my pick. I think eventually around f5 people like Kevin would have picked Jesse off. BB21: Holly's game was not visible enough, same mistake as Godfrey in BBCAN. Jackson deserved to win and that is the problem, it shows that competitions now rule the day. BB25: Originally I also agreed that Matt should win, but then his f2 speech was so bad you know he didn't actually understand the moves he was making. But ultimately that you can't pick Jag because he was EVICTED. I would want to pick Cirie but comps are too important now. So yeah, I guess no choice but to pick Matt. BB15: I do think you overrate Andy because in the first half of the game they had the completely busted MVP on their side the whole time with Elissa. But obviously yes he deserved to win no questions. The rest I agree, except BB19. Obviously it is the Puppet Master. What were you thinking?!?!?!?!
Finally someone saying the BB7 Erika thing! Erika played better than Mike on BB 7 IDC sue me. I feel like the convo surrounding her game would be different if the season aired now.
At times it seemed her game was flopping but in the end she got the people out she needed to. I think Will and Janelle playing to Jury for Boogie helped Mike a lot and might've lost Erika Danielle's and Howie's votes. I think people were pissed at being outlasted by a "non all star"

Shelly was the best player, but in BB13 as far as win equity, I think Kalia. If there is no battle back in BB13, I'm almost 100% sure that Kalia wins. Because if the Battle back doesn't happen, Dani and Kalia get out Brendon, Rachel, and Jordan (Jeff more than likely wins the cornhole veto, since he came in 2nd only because he threw it to Adam) in back to back to back weeks, Dani/Kalia/Porsche, and now Lawon, are able to dominate. Here's how I think it would go Brendon: 10th Rachel 9th Jordan 8th F7: Jeff wins slip and slide HOH and Zingbot Veto, Final noms: Kalia/Dani. Dani goes home F6: Kalia wins Before/After HOH, Jeff/Adam nominated Porsche wins Somewhere over the Veto. doesn't use it. Jeff evicted 2-1 F5: Porsche wins Snake Eyes HOH. Adam/Shelly nominations. (No Duo Do Over, no Rollin in the Dough comp) Adam wins OTEV, Lawon replaces. Shelly 5th place 2-1 vote F4: Adam wins Fortune teller HOH, since he went 6 for 6 in the original. Porsche/Kalia nominated. Porsche wins Jukebox veto, evicts Lawon 4th place F3: Kalia wins part 1(she was the best of the 3 in endurance comps), Porsche wins Part 2 (she beats Adam in real time) Kalia wins Final HOH (Porsche got 0 in real time, Kalia will at least get 1) Kalia evicts Adam: 3rd place Kalia V Porsche. Rachel votes Porsche, I do think everyone else votes for Kalia. Kalia wins at best 6-1, at worst 4-3 with Dani, Lawon, Shelly, and probably Adam.
Random thing to comment on but I agree it's insane that Monte and Turner didn't keep Alyssa over Taylor like it's an all time bad move that nobody brings up
I agree Jun is amazing (probably my 2nd favorite winner), but Ethanimale is very good at making his biased opinion look like facts. Example: making Jun look like she played an almost flawless game while looking for any excuse to discredit Nicole F in her video, when Nicole had the strongest female winning game of all time.
He did point out that she really only had one path to win in sitting next to Alison which definitely docks her down and her just not being willing to be fake about her feelings. She knew how to lie on the spot but with a better social standing, she definitely is where Andy is. One my favorite winners and definitely the best player of her season but in a game about socially, she was bottom-tier.
41:43 here, a different TH-camr Ethanimale did and interview with Andy, and he did it because he knew Jesse was the house target and wanted to show to his allies he could win comps.
Can you make a video in more depth about why Taylor was the best player of her season? I personally find her very cringey, like the storage room fake yelling. I think she did a good job of playing the victim even though in other seasons (ie. Amanda) you are okay with that type of gameplay because it is a game after all. More victim playing with regards to Kyle’s racism which wasn’t even really Racism it was just an observation and awareness of the cookout. Taylor even said she didn’t want to put another black woman (woman of color?) on the block so Kyle wasn’t exactly out to lunch on his suspicion from his perspective. She had poor strategic thinking evidenced by when she had her first HoH and wanted to put up two alliance members. Monty was sexually attracted to her and is probably a big reason why he kept her along for the ride, thinking he could beat her. Would love to hear more about what she did well specifically. I totally disagree Danielle should have beaten Dick. Both suck, and I think Dick is the worst winner ever, but Danielle's social and strategic games both totally sucked this season, even worse than Dick. And she benefited as much from the riggage of Americas Player as Dick does, even without her great comp ability she is nowhere near the end. Despite being the biggest goat in the cast and having no winning Final 2 other than maybe Jen, and not even sure on her. The fact she lost to her dad who everyone hated tells you how hated and what a goat she was this season, a goat who is nowhere near making the end (same as her dad) without Americas Player to boot. I agree on every video that picks Danielle as the worst runner up.
You really underestimate jury management. 90% of the time Paul loses to ANYONE sitting next to them because they were a backstabbing douche that no one liked and couldnt own up to his game because they acted like they were the 2nd coming of Jesus. Josh didnt deserve it but literally anyone sits next to Paul, that person wins because of, say it with me 👏Jury👏Management. People didnt vote for Josh to win, they voted to spite Paul. Thats the difference between a mastermind like Andy who everyone loved and stayed nice to people he betrayed and didnt rub it in their face as they left while Paul loses. Paul is a text book example of how not to manage a Big Brother jury because in the vast majority of cases, it loses them the game regardless of how well they played. It happened. TWICE.
I agree that Andy played a basically perfect game of big brother. But I would say the same about his game that you did about Derrick’s: it’s a little less impressive than some of the other goated games that might have been a little less perfect but were up against better players who recognized the threat they posed. I think that if Andy was in the same house as a top tier strategic player he may have still won but it would have been much harder for him. Mostly I’m just disappointed because we never got to see the extent of Andy’s strategic skill since he was never put in a tough position due to his perfect social game and we didn’t see it in the diary rooms.

BB7 will always be a favorite season! The final four to me was clear as day. As much I say yes, it’s Erica’s move. For me, was it really a move? Dr. Will came in as the only winner and then made it all the way to top 4 puppeteering the entire game. It was clear as day I would think to anyone. Just for the pure fact that he won before, but then the other things he did the season c’mon. I feel like anybody in Erica’s position could’ve said we have to take Will out if we want to have a shot at winning so it’s hard to be like Erica did this big move. I think Janelle really got played the whole season and finally was like oh crap and did the move. I slightly disagree with you on Will’s games. Not really because I think any of the facts are wrong but mostly because I think I value things slightly differently. As for the few parts of your assessment I think are wrong: for BB2 I think there’s a chance that he starts playing seriously sooner if he doesn’t think his showmance is going to take the fall for him. For BB7 I don’t disagree with any part of the assessment I just value things a little differently and think he played such a dominant game up until his mistake that he deserves the win.

So yeah, iirc Tyler didn’t actually do anything wrong in that fight. Bayleigh misunderstood something, lashed out at him, then was too proud to admit she had been wrong.
1:04:50 Here’s the thing with people who say Taylor would’ve been the first boot if Paloma hadn’t self-evicted: no she wouldn’t have. There was like a 1% chance that Taylor would have actually been out of the game week 1. The backstage boss twist was in play. The obstacle course challenge we saw the houseguests play in pairs that episode would have been the competition that Taylor and either Paloma or Alyssa had to win to stay in the game. We saw Taylor beat Alyssa, and I doubt Paloma could’ve done any better in that comp.
Great video but I TOTALLY disagree with you on two points. 1. Season 16 wasn't the dumb cast that everyone loves to claim. Granted Derrick probably made them look dumb, but this cast has actually proven to be good at the game. That cast contains a two-time winner, a runner-up who won an All-Star season and several other players who have gone deep their second time around. It's kind of silly to claim the case was dumb when that cast has had the most success of any other. 2. Season 19 was BY FAR the dumbest cast ever. I think Paul is the second most overrated BB player in history (behind Dr. WIll). Paul's second season is the perfect example of a player who put on a show for no strategic benefit. His entire game relied upon houseguests not talking to one another. As you said yourself, Paul could have just been honest about his true intentions but he wasn't. We have to evaluate the game he played not the one he should have played. And same goes for Josh. While it's true that Paul protected Josh, that doesn't negate the fact that this was part of Josh's strategy. Josh KNEW what Paul was doing. He got close enough to him to see his game. He knew Paul wanted to be seen as the "friend" and nice guy. But he needed an agent of chaos to do the things Paul couldn't. Love him or hate him, Josh understood his ticket to the finale was to become indispensable to Paul. Josh knew that Paul would protect him if he became the agent of chaos that Paul needed. IMO, you downplay the goodbye messages aspect in this case because it WAS part of Josh's strategy to out Paul without him knowing. Josh knew Paul wasn't being honest (bad game play by Paul) and was pretending to be something he wasn't, which he was banking his entire game on. Totally fair play to expose that. It isn't fair to say that Josh was just doing what every player should do in his goodbyes, because not every player has that kind of ammo. It also doesn't make sense to downgrade this move because he pulled off a move that you think everyone should do. He DID it.

There isn't one right way to play Big Brother, and think what makes Jun's game amazing is that she recognized she wasn't liked because of how she carried herself, and that Alison was the only person less liked than her in the entire house. Her and Alison both realizing their best shot at winning was to be next to one another at the end was a really smart and unlikely move, which only happened because both of them played the game without a shred of emotion. If Jun actually cared about loyalty and social strategy in the slightest she wouldn't have linked up with Alison and loses final two, if she even manages to get there, especially since one of the reasons people voted for her to win is because she didn't really pretend like she was close to the people she was going to vote out, which made her game more respectable to the jury.
41:30 Andy’s explained this in some podcasts (I can’t recall which ones)-basically, winning an HoH in a week where the nominees were relatively safe choices endeared himself to the rest of the house and solidified himself as a non-threat who wouldn’t make bold movies.
yes! i've heard him say this and i still think it was a risky move. helen was hardcore pushing for him to nominate mccranda and in him not listening to her, alerted her and elissa to the fact that andy was closer with them. in the end it didn't matter which is why i love his game, but i still think the risk was not worth taking.

Tyler lost because of a tactical error. He needed Angela in the final 2 because everyone in the jury loved Kaycee and she forged better relationships with those people. I agree 100% that Tyler should’ve won though. I was PISSED when Kaycee won! 😂
also more on paul, the reason why i think paul should never have won any of his seasons is also cause of his terrible jury management and jury management does matter, you can't expect to win when you lie in your goodbye messages and think u can gaslight the jury in the end, like that's literally insane, that just proves how terrible of a player paul is, he thinks he can win by gaslighting the jury and lying to them and trying to play the "good guy" to the jury, that also just shows how much of a lack of self awareness he truly has, and someone with that little self awareness does not deserve to win.
Also if you're given the season on a silver platter, with twist after twist benefitting you, and you still can't win in a jury vote against a jackass who was banging pots and pans, you deserve to lose I'm sorry. If Paul could own his game, he's a 2X winner.

She could beat Nicole if she cut Jackson but since I doubt she would be willing to do that, she likely loses even to her. Her only winning chance of anyone who even made it anywhere near the end was cutting Jackson and taking Nicole specifically.
I disagree about Dan’s funeral. He had to get up to Frank without people believing it was a strategic conversation. With the speech he’s able to convince the houseguests that he’s basically done playing the game, so when he is talking to Frank most of the people thought he was just apologizing.
As for turning on Ian too late, I vehemently disagree with that too. Keeping the quackpack together and strong is substantially more valuable than playing for a Frank HoH. If Frank loses the HoH when he was completely outnumbered, then Dan has no need to turn on Ian. If he had turned on Ian for the one situation of Frank winning, and Frank loses, he gives Frank information to blow up the alliance, blow up Dan’s game, and probably put Dan on the outside instead of a power position. Unless you’re using hindsight I don’t even think Dan should consider turning on the alliance that early
Jury management is EQUALLY as important as competitions and social strategy! Paul lost twice because of jury management!

1:08:10 I think we saw in the finale and post-season that Matt really didn’t have a lot of intentionality in his game play. I still think Cirie was easily the best player on the cast, and if it wasn’t for Felicia picking her for the kayak punishment Cirie could possibly have held onto her position and won the game. Cirie being completely out of commission for game talk for those 48 hours is what enabled Cory to wake some people up just long enough to flip the vote on Izzy.
Also if Jared wasn’t there anchoring her game.
Big Brother 7 by far the best player was Will. Boogie was willing to go to Final 2 with Will and lose badly. In fact it is what he wanted to do. Will misplayed the Final 4 round which is why he lost, and he deserves blame for that, but still nobody else even has a case. I don't even know who I would pick as 2nd best player of that season. Probably Danielle in fact, since Janelle and Boogie's games were both massively flawed, and don't even get me started on Erika who I am going to talk about now. In fact I could see a case Danielle should have won the season in that she has a great shot if her closest ally (dumb dumb Erika) does not evict her at Final 6 for no good reason, and sabotoging her own game as well.
I strongly disagree with Erika being the one who should have won that season. Yes she made a great play in getting Will out and outplayed Will that round but that was literally the only good thing about her entire game. The rest of her game sucked, and evicting Danielle at Final 6 was a STUPID, stupid move for her. Plus she gets destroyed in a jury vote by the entire Final 4 (Will, Janelle, and Boogie all beat her 7-0 or 6-1) and evicted her only winning Final 2 Chicken George at Final 5 too, another super dumb move. So yeah no way in heck it is Erika. I would have for sure voted Boogie in the Final 2 over her, and I hate Mike Boogie.
I agree with most of your takes, but Boogie (and I’m not a fan of chill town) deserved the win, if not him Will, I even think Janelle played better than Erika. Erika had no winning scenario a part from probably Chicken George, she evicted her strongest ally in Danielle and was almost taken out for many rounds but got lucky at the last minute, so, using your evaluation for other seasons I just don’t understand how Erika played the better game.

Erika had a good social game and one (obvious) strategic move, but her Jury management was terrible. Getting rid of Danielle was a horrible move and she was never going to get her vote after that. Will (and by extension of him, Boogie) outplayed everyone. Will was onto Erika’s game early and wanted her out before Howie, but he relented because Boogie wanted to keep her. His only real mistake was dropping the ball with Janelle at the end.

It is hard to agree Monica should have won since she had virtually no strategy. And while yes she beats everyone in a jury vote she realistically had almost no likelihood of making the end. The only reason she made Final 3 and wasn't the Final 4 boot was she won final 4 HOH which was a huge upset as she isn't good at comps, otherwise is booted there. So she would have had to win back to back HOHs, again being someone not good at challenges, or she goes home. She also goes home at Final 5 if Bunky doen't overplay badly the days before and make himself a target of his own allies, otherwise she goes home there too, and that is something she had nothing to do with.

I would say Jason should have won Big Brother 3. He had a great game except his one super dumb move to boot Ami over Lisa, but still would go with him. Not Danielle, as her jury management SUCKED, but worse than that she sunk herself by bringing both Lisa and Jason to Final 3, ensuring her loss no matter what, where she could have won bringing an Ami or Gerry. And not Lisa as she was a bit too UTR for my liking, and also is the certain evictee if she doesn't win final HOH.
I would argue that her bringing anyone to the final 3 is not as dumb back then as it is now, as we only know this now because of hindsight. She brought people that made sense to bring at the time and had no real frame of reference for who would and wouldn’t be smart to bring.

BB21 - Tommy (Am sorry but holly is so overrated as a player, yes I think she should of won over Jackson Michie but just in general even her sticking with Jackson was a mistake when everyone was against him, like she really should of been more closer to the other side of the house instead of just sticking by jackson michie, i do agree with u tho that she should of won over Michie tho, also Tommy has such an amazing social game, he was incredible)

BB25 - Cirie (Cirie is such an overhated and underrated player in BB25, she was so overhated in BB25 which is so unfair, socially she played amazing she boucned back so much and people say she had all these advantages which is so not true, she was at such a disadvantage, jared hurt her game more than anything, and also jag getting that second chance after getting evicted is so unfair and it hurt cirie's game, and also it's just unfair in general that jag came back after getting evicted and being he only person to get a second chance along with cameron, where as no other evictee got that second chance, super unfair and jag is the worst winner of big brother of all time, also i feel like cirie played so much better than matt, am sorry matt did not do well by keeping jag, it's a bad move, also cirie just played super well and people don't give cirie enough credit and also how unlucky she was with all these twists with jag coming back really hurt her game and also jared being in that house was such a disadvantage for her because she couldn't play as selfishly as she wanted and without jared, i think cirie does so much better because she can play a 100% selfish game and she excels at the social game, without production rigging this season with jag coming back, i think cirie wins, so it's not even cirie's fault, it's productions fault as to why cirie didn't win)
Thanks for doing an extensive list. My thoughts on some of these.
Big Brother 3- I can see saying Danielle should have won but I totally disagree Lisa is "overrated". Since nobody even praises Lisa, when you hear her talked about it is always "Danielle was robbed" so how can Lisa be overrated when she isn't even praised as a winner. I actually think Lisa is a bit underrated. I can see the argument Danielle was robbed but Lisa had a great social game and also convinced Danielle and Jason to make one of the dumbest moves ever in booting freaking Ami over her at Final 4. Also Danielle sunk herself by bringing both Jason and Lisa, the two biggest jury threats in the whole house, to Final 3, so she deserves some blame there. She basically drew herself dead.
Big Brother 8- I agree Jameka wins if she makes the end but she was never making the end barring a huge comp run, and she isn't even good at comps. I would say Erik considering he wins the season easily if he isn't forced to be Americas Player and do things bad for his own game constantly.
Big Brother 11- Jessie got 9th, not 10th.
Big Brother 19- I agree Paul has sucky jury management which his delusional fans will never accept. However Josh also had really bad jury management, he banged pots and pans just to annoy people. And Paul had a much more dominant game, so since both had horrible jury management, would have voted for Paul for sure.
Other thing about Big Brother 6 is even if Janelle made it to Final 2 she was never winning because the Friendship him the majority in the Jury.
I know people love the Sovereign Six but they really screwed themselves because of bad gameplay moves from Kaysar and Howie specifically. Janelle's only win condition is if she somehow made it to the end with Howie or James.
I am super impressed with how much you remember from each season!! That is crazy!
And no idea how Holly would ever win the season without Jackson. If she goes to the end with Tommy and Christie ( which is unlikely as they would taken people like Analyse, Jack, Nick, Jess over her) they take each other over her, and both easily best her in a jury vote, especially Tommy who is who Holly probably takes if she wins final HOH in that group.

no fr. i genuinely think it came down to their final speeches. i think matt was trying to be somewhat loyal to jag but jag wasn't the same way. matt played it more as a team effort (but did point out it wouldn't have been a team effort without him saving jag). he should've pointed out more why his game was better than jag's all around, all season. if he would've explained how much better his game was literally up until a week or two after jag got saved by him, i think he would've won

In season 21, Nicole and Cliff should have voted out Holly at the final 5.
If that happens, there is literally no way Jackson wins. He pissed off so many people, that Holly was the only person in the final 5 who would lose to Jackson.
If Tommy is there to compete in the final veto, I would say there is a good chance that Tommy could beat Jackson in that final veto and evict Jackson. Suppose Jackson still wins the veto, I would imagine Jackson would evict Tommy (meaning that Cliff is safe).
If that happens, Cliff and Nicole enter the final 3 together. If Jackson loses the final HOH, it is Cliff and Nicole in the final 2. Suppose Jackson manages to win that final HOH. Jackson is now a kingmaker. Jackson is not gonna win, he is voting between Nicole or Cliff as to which one he will sit next to when he gets second place.
I think we wind up with a Tommy vs Nicole Final 2 and Tommy wins 8-1. Nicole's only vote coming from Cliff.

Either way I expect Tommy to beat Jackson in the veto, Nicole nearly did, and Jackson admits after the veto was played he thinks Tommy would have won it over him. Tommy could evict either Jackson or Cliff, not sure, but lets guess he evicts Jackson.
Final 3- Tommy probably wins final HOH in a Final 3 of Nicole, Cliff, Tommy. Tommy takes Nicole and wins. If it is Jackson, Tommy, Nicole, I am not sure which of Jackson or Tommy win final HOH. Then if it is Tommy for sure takes Nicole and again wins, while Jackson I am not sure who he takes, it is probably 50/50, but I agree he likely loses regardless, although Nicole it is a close vote as Jack, Analyse, Holly, and probably Nick all vote Jackson over Nicole, and Tommy and Christie become the swings.

I was also a little hesitant at first, and I started from Borneo the first season. But I’ve come to love survivor more than bb. It’s a step up from bb, when it comes to pretty much every area (characters, competitions, change of setting). The intros are also great as the song is modified to fit in with whatever country or island they’re filming in. I would start with a season like Pearl Islands or China.

BB17: If you look at how the comps went down in BB17 you can see that Vanessa was safe from winning competitions or from closest ally winning and never really had to operate from a position of other side winning comp except for in Becky HOH week. Probably still deserve to win but often overrated in this particular aspect.
BB2: Nicole+Hardy seems like the final 2 that would usually happen and I'm guessing that they would give the win to Hardy but I'm not sure. I still think Will should have won overall, though I can see your points.
BB5: You probably should have mentioned Karen but I can understand the Drew pick
BB11: Surprised you didn't mention Kevin very much. He would be my pick. I think eventually around f5 people like Kevin would have picked Jesse off.
BB21: Holly's game was not visible enough, same mistake as Godfrey in BBCAN. Jackson deserved to win and that is the problem, it shows that competitions now rule the day.
BB25: Originally I also agreed that Matt should win, but then his f2 speech was so bad you know he didn't actually understand the moves he was making. But ultimately that you can't pick Jag because he was EVICTED. I would want to pick Cirie but comps are too important now. So yeah, I guess no choice but to pick Matt.
BB15: I do think you overrate Andy because in the first half of the game they had the completely busted MVP on their side the whole time with Elissa. But obviously yes he deserved to win no questions.

Finally someone saying the BB7 Erika thing! Erika played better than Mike on BB 7 IDC sue me. I feel like the convo surrounding her game would be different if the season aired now.
At times it seemed her game was flopping but in the end she got the people out she needed to. I think Will and Janelle playing to Jury for Boogie helped Mike a lot and might've lost Erika Danielle's and Howie's votes. I think people were pissed at being outlasted by a "non all star"

Shelly was the best player, but in BB13 as far as win equity, I think Kalia. If there is no battle back in BB13, I'm almost 100% sure that Kalia wins. Because if the Battle back doesn't happen, Dani and Kalia get out Brendon, Rachel, and Jordan (Jeff more than likely wins the cornhole veto, since he came in 2nd only because he threw it to Adam) in back to back to back weeks, Dani/Kalia/Porsche, and now Lawon, are able to dominate. Here's how I think it would go
Brendon: 10th Rachel 9th Jordan 8th
F7: Jeff wins slip and slide HOH and Zingbot Veto, Final noms: Kalia/Dani. Dani goes home
F6: Kalia wins Before/After HOH, Jeff/Adam nominated Porsche wins Somewhere over the Veto. doesn't use it. Jeff evicted 2-1

I agree Jun is amazing (probably my 2nd favorite winner), but Ethanimale is very good at making his biased opinion look like facts. Example: making Jun look like she played an almost flawless game while looking for any excuse to discredit Nicole F in her video, when Nicole had the strongest female winning game of all time.
i agree in regards to her game. def don't think it was this perfectly executed masterpiece that a lot of people make it out to be.
He did point out that she really only had one path to win in sitting next to Alison which definitely docks her down and her just not being willing to be fake about her feelings. She knew how to lie on the spot but with a better social standing, she definitely is where Andy is. One my favorite winners and definitely the best player of her season but in a game about socially, she was bottom-tier.

I personally find her very cringey, like the storage room fake yelling. I think she did a good job of playing the victim even though in other seasons (ie. Amanda) you are okay with that type of gameplay because it is a game after all. More victim playing with regards to Kyle’s racism which wasn’t even really Racism it was just an observation and awareness of the cookout. Taylor even said she didn’t want to put another black woman (woman of color?) on the block so Kyle wasn’t exactly out to lunch on his suspicion from his perspective.
She had poor strategic thinking evidenced by when she had her first HoH and wanted to put up two alliance members.
Monty was sexually attracted to her and is probably a big reason why he kept her along for the ride, thinking he could beat her.

I totally disagree Danielle should have beaten Dick. Both suck, and I think Dick is the worst winner ever, but Danielle's social and strategic games both totally sucked this season, even worse than Dick. And she benefited as much from the riggage of Americas Player as Dick does, even without her great comp ability she is nowhere near the end. Despite being the biggest goat in the cast and having no winning Final 2 other than maybe Jen, and not even sure on her. The fact she lost to her dad who everyone hated tells you how hated and what a goat she was this season, a goat who is nowhere near making the end (same as her dad) without Americas Player to boot. I agree on every video that picks Danielle as the worst runner up.
You really underestimate jury management. 90% of the time Paul loses to ANYONE sitting next to them because they were a backstabbing douche that no one liked and couldnt own up to his game because they acted like they were the 2nd coming of Jesus. Josh didnt deserve it but literally anyone sits next to Paul, that person wins because of, say it with me 👏Jury👏Management. People didnt vote for Josh to win, they voted to spite Paul. Thats the difference between a mastermind like Andy who everyone loved and stayed nice to people he betrayed and didnt rub it in their face as they left while Paul loses. Paul is a text book example of how not to manage a Big Brother jury because in the vast majority of cases, it loses them the game regardless of how well they played. It happened. TWICE.

I agree that Andy played a basically perfect game of big brother. But I would say the same about his game that you did about Derrick’s: it’s a little less impressive than some of the other goated games that might have been a little less perfect but were up against better players who recognized the threat they posed. I think that if Andy was in the same house as a top tier strategic player he may have still won but it would have been much harder for him. Mostly I’m just disappointed because we never got to see the extent of Andy’s strategic skill since he was never put in a tough position due to his perfect social game and we didn’t see it in the diary rooms.

BB7 will always be a favorite season! The final four to me was clear as day. As much I say yes, it’s Erica’s move. For me, was it really a move? Dr. Will came in as the only winner and then made it all the way to top 4 puppeteering the entire game. It was clear as day I would think to anyone. Just for the pure fact that he won before, but then the other things he did the season c’mon. I feel like anybody in Erica’s position could’ve said we have to take Will out if we want to have a shot at winning so it’s hard to be like Erica did this big move. I think Janelle really got played the whole season and finally was like oh crap and did the move. I’m sure Will was definitely sure of self killing the whole season but, I also feel he’s not dumb and would think this could definitely happen. 🤷🏾♂️. All my opinions!!! I love big brother👏👏😅!

I slightly disagree with you on Will’s games. Not really because I think any of the facts are wrong but mostly because I think I value things slightly differently. As for the few parts of your assessment I think are wrong: for BB2 I think there’s a chance that he starts playing seriously sooner if he doesn’t think his showmance is going to take the fall for him. For BB7 I don’t disagree with any part of the assessment I just value things a little differently and think he played such a dominant game up until his mistake that he deserves the win.

Also, the vote he told her he didn’t need was her vote to keep him that week, it had nothing to do with her jury vote. That’s just a lie that Bayleigh stans have spread on Twitter. So yeah, iirc Tyler didn’t actually do anything wrong in that fight. Bayleigh misunderstood something, lashed out at him, then was too proud to admit she had been wrong.

1:04:50 Here’s the thing with people who say Taylor would’ve been the first boot if Paloma hadn’t self-evicted: no she wouldn’t have. There was like a 1% chance that Taylor would have actually been out of the game week 1. The backstage boss twist was in play. The obstacle course challenge we saw the houseguests play in pairs that episode would have been the competition that Taylor and either Paloma or Alyssa had to win to stay in the game. We saw Taylor beat Alyssa, and I doubt Paloma could’ve done any better in that comp.

Great video but I TOTALLY disagree with you on two points.
1. Season 16 wasn't the dumb cast that everyone loves to claim. Granted Derrick probably made them look dumb, but this cast has actually proven to be good at the game. That cast contains a two-time winner, a runner-up who won an All-Star season and several other players who have gone deep their second time around. It's kind of silly to claim the case was dumb when that cast has had the most success of any other.
2. Season 19 was BY FAR the dumbest cast ever. I think Paul is the second most overrated BB player in history (behind Dr. WIll). Paul's second season is the perfect example of a player who put on a show for no strategic benefit. His entire game relied upon houseguests not talking to one another. As you said yourself, Paul could have just been honest about his true intentions but he wasn't. We have to evaluate the game he played not the one he should have played. And same goes for Josh.
While it's true that Paul protected Josh, that doesn't negate the fact that this was part of Josh's strategy.
Josh KNEW what Paul was doing. He got close enough to him to see his game. He knew Paul wanted to be seen as the "friend" and nice guy. But he needed an agent of chaos to do the things Paul couldn't. Love him or hate him, Josh understood his ticket to the finale was to become indispensable to Paul. Josh knew that Paul would protect him if he became the agent of chaos that Paul needed.
IMO, you downplay the goodbye messages aspect in this case because it WAS part of Josh's strategy to out Paul without him knowing. Josh knew Paul wasn't being honest (bad game play by Paul) and was pretending to be something he wasn't, which he was banking his entire game on. Totally fair play to expose that. It isn't fair to say that Josh was just doing what every player should do in his goodbyes, because not every player has that kind of ammo. It also doesn't make sense to downgrade this move because he pulled off a move that you think everyone should do. He DID it.
Sorry but whoever won, should have won, i dont care who played the better strategic game, the social game is just as important.
