Can't even BELIEVE it. I learned this song when I was like 3 years old (and sang it to DEATH Cause I Lived it Soo much)!! Not many people know it! Thanks for bringing back some great memories, especially during all of the awful crap going on!, 👍💐😇💜

I love her! When I'm sad and life just seems like it's too much, I come here and watch her and it makes me feel better. There's magic in those hands when they have spoons in them 😂
My Dad used to play this when I was a child! We all would sing along to this and My darling Clementine and many others. How wonderful to hear this again after so long! Thank you all.💕
That lil cutie Abby is somethin else! Sugar, we love you and your style. Bare feet and mountain dresses. Just watching your light shine brings joy to my heart. Thank you for being you. You are one of my idols. ❤
Makes me smile each time I hit rewind! If your a fan of Andy Griffith you have to love this music.. They remind me of the dillards. I hope someday they sing Dooley... This is the absolute best I've ever heard this song by any group!!
OH I MISS THE MOUNTAINS AND FROGGY WENT A COURTIN WAS A CHILDHOOD FAVORITE OF MINE AND WHEN I GROW UP LOTS OF PEOPLE I KNEW DIDN'T EVER HEAR FROGGY WENT A COURTIN.. PEACE LOVE EVERYONE 🌎✌💜😂💯
I'm 70, from Somerset, England and used to hear it on the radio back in the 50s, I think it was Burl Ives' version. Bruce Springsteen did it on his 'Seeger Sessions' album but my favorite version is by 'Uncle Pecos' from the Tom and Jerry cartoon of the same name......
I learned that song as a kid ... in Germany! We had a couple consisting of a guitar-player and flute player, and both singers: Christiane und Frederik, they were making songs for kids, they wrote songs about how important e.g. builders are, and how women should be treated equally at the workplace, or about how rich people get away with destroying the environment while poor people can't even fart without getting fined... they played songs by Brecht, and they translated this one. I once knew all their songs by heart, and this here is one I still like to sing every once in a while. I never knew it was an American Folk song! P.S.: Abby as always dressed like no one else and looking so great! Thanks for being and for uploading.
Brilliant!❤❤❤❤ A real feel good song and seeing you all playing and the joy it gives you all radiates. Thank you so much, I'm having a go at this on my ukulele and cahone, love it. Thanks for brightening my day Xxx Xxx Love Mitch from Liverpool x
When I was a little girl....a loooooooong time ago when we would visit my grandmother she would play the ukulele and sing Froggie Went A-Courtin' to me while we sat out on her porch swing. This brought back such sweet memories.
THANK YOU. ❤🌈☮️♾️⚖️ My Great Grandpa Jim Wyatt of Chicago via Oklahoma used to bounce me on his knee while he sang this. It's BEAUTIFUL to hear; brings JOY to my ears.

Becareful Alice there are many rabbit holes. Choose wisely,
One pill makes you larger
And one pill makes you small
And the ones that mother gives you
Don't do anything at all
Go ask Alice
When she's ten feet tall
And if you go chasing rabbits
And you know you're going to fall
Tell 'em a hookah-smoking caterpillar
Has given you the call
Call Alice
When she was just small
When the men on the chessboard
Get up and tell you where to go
And you've just had some kind of mushroom
And your mind is moving low
Go ask Alice
I think she'll know
When logic and proportion
Have fallen sloppy dead
And the White Knight is talking backwards
And the Red Queen's off with her head
Remember what the dormouse said
Feed your head
Feed your head
