This is a comment I made in another video that I think (and was told) does a good job explaining Taemin’s idea for the dance. He said the purpose of this dance was to incorporate both "feminine" and "masculine" dance moves to create something "androgynous." He's finally coming to embrace his androgyny after struggling a lot with it in the past and he hoped this song would begin to break barriers within dance of what is feminine and masculine. He said he believes dance should be something to express yourself and should be available for anyone no matter the sex or gender. He used to be made fun of when he was younger and even after he debuted with shinee where people would misgender him or claim he was too feminine. During some shows they would dress him as a women simply because they said he looked like one and that made him pretty uncomfortable and insecure about himself. This song was his growth and just himself coming to embrace himself as he is
