They say you learn something new everyday, but we didnt have time for that so we shared one for every year instead :) Which lesson resonated with you the most?
I love most of the points you made, can't pick one. Regarding the one about not having victim mentality and using the hand of cards you've been dealt, there's a great book on this "The Unfair Advantage"
I don't comment on any YT videos, but definitely felt like I had to take the time to comment today. Prompt: When do I feel most beautiful? Chloe: 2:11 "when I'm true to the life I want to live" Eric: 6:33 "when I'm surrounded by people who I know think I am beautiful" Chloe shines when she lives a life that is consistent with who she is. Eric wants to be in the presence of people who know who he is. (And obviously, Chloe is one of such people) As a relationship coach, you two stated the exact two outcomes I try to help my clients achieve. Love what you two are doing. You two ooze such genuine authenticity. Keep doing you. Great things are coming your way.
After having spent 9 years with my boyfriend who has ADHD and 4 years with my best friend who also happens to have ADHD - one thing that really stood out to me is time blindness. Whether it's estimating how long they need to get to a place, to get prepared, even the length of relationship. I can honestly tell you, they wouldn't know we've known each other for so long. Their time just flows on a different clock. I'm not so sure about not being able to focus when there's people around to conclude if it's ADHD, because I can assure you when my boyfriend and best friend are very interested in what they are doing, they can focus extremely well even if it's in the middle of a very busy road/street. As someone who doesn't have ADHD, I do struggle with my environment too when I need to focus and this is some other issue I have because of childhood trauma. I just dislike sounds in general.
The ADHD part is so interesting! I think the thing you are talking about is something a lot of people with ADHD, myself included, struggle with. I don’t like being perceived when doing anything
Tuesday commutes to my soul sucking corporate job are better with Jomo 💛 keep up the great work! Know you two are super busy and this has been so inspiring and reassuring as I navigate my late 20s ✨
1:06:00 Chloe’s voice and how she presents the idea soundsss so therapeutic, weirdly doesnt sound warm but feels like a warm hug. Sth like warm hug from a cold person no idea if this make sense haha
I liked the one about “not being/seeming busy” and playtime means something 😝🤣 It’s like even when that day is just a rest day, doesn’t mean you’re wasting it or being lagged behind And sometimes the blanks just helps you realize and see the beauty in things😊
I relate a lot to Eric's struggle to concentrate when there's people around, and i have been diagnosed with adhd. I don't relate to the need to constantly be on my phone though, phone apps and notifications overwhelm me and i avoid them, so that i have space for creating and just letting my thoughts roam. But adhd doesn't mean we have all the same problems and tendencies. I found it so freeing though when I found out about the diagnosis, and I finally had an explanation for so many of my struggles in life, and I've been accepting the way my brain works and creating systems that work for me and take advantage of my brain natural strong points. Coming back to the distractions, I have been practicing staying focused even when circumstances are not great, and I've been getting better at this, so maybe it's something that can be practised, maybe not always, idk. Good luck!
Thank you for being vulnerable and sharing the struggles you guys went thru. I feel so seen! Im also an ex product mgr and current founder of a 3 year old startup and going thru similiar phase
the vibe on this pod is just two solid successful friends bantering with awesome tips/tricks as they live their lives. love your stuff! listening to every poooddd!!! love ittt!!
Chloe, if you ever consider sharing, I would love to hear some of your poems ❤ What I heard was beautiful, I like the way you paint images with words, and you've definitely got wisdom to share. And I don't think it has to rhyme to be a poem, it's the way you paint the picture to me
Love the tips. Im 32 still trying to figure out life, especially recently and its really been putting me in a rut. Many ive already tried to apply to my life, and many i have to work on
you know eric never had any friends growing up when he doesn't know you say 'jinx' when you say things at the same time and the first one to say jinx is owed a soda by the other (not really tho)
This is triggering for me. How do people have friends?? Most people are lonely. We are in a loneliness epidemic! Wtf. I feel like meeting people is impossible and no one cares for friendship anymore.
i relate to you guys so much * _ * everything boils down to playing the infinite game because this perspective is the thing that you gain from embracing self-awareness after being in this world long enough, and it is not a simple lesson to let seep into our consciousness...? b t w the vibes here is tough love yall, self-deprecating non-jokes and calling your friends out lol e.g. "just fking do the thing that you said you would do", "15th wheel", "what a fking cop out"

I do love Eric's biceps❤😊
But my best lesson was no doubt "nobody knows shit"
We're all just trying to figure it out as we go along😂
Love the one about, you don't suck, just realising I'm okay, I'm just some guy(non gendered lol) and being just some guy is cool
Even through a work eap, when they helped me find a long term therapist they filtered out therapists on psychology today.
The best qoute ever. For anybody too create is too be god. No duh. Message.
I love your face Eric!

The “plop” is crazy 💀🚽
RIGHT?!?!?
.... As a tennis player, I want to play pickleball now lol
I’ve called more than one loved one a dumbass for filming vertically 🙈
I can't find Eric's version of "how to boil water", I crave this link. I need to read this passive aggressive wikihow.

A full podcast later and a not a single unittest passed 💀, great episode tho.
Eric when Chloe was objectifying his abs 🙈
🤭🤭🤭🤭
