I think Dara would be the one saying "BLACKPINK in your area!" because she was the one always saying "2NE1" whenever it was said in their songs. But for the most part I agree with this line distribution.

While there is probably some projection going on from us 2NE1 fans when it comes to BP, it cannot be denied how little YG has done to differentiate these girls from their now disbanded seniors. Ok, sure, overall their image and sound are a bit cuter and younger - but generally speaking the concepts and music (down to the delivery/vocal style and production because Teddy) are very similar to 2NE1. YG is not the first company to put out multiple girlgroups, but definitely one of the few that's tried to plain rehash an older group that didn't work out.
