Following this recipe for Xmas dinner with family, wish me luck :-)
Hope you enjoyed it!!
Wow deliciously wonderful!!!
worked perfectly, so yummy
Making it now.
Great recipe!
Anyone know if this works with boneless? Also anyone know settings for IP for this recipe? Guessing high for 90mins?
Perfect n delicious.
Oakleigh represent!
You must trim the fat with 'lot code' numbers and lettering before you marinate
Looks delicious. So happy for some insight into Greek cuisine.
Συνολικά έξι ώρες μαγειρέματος, σωστά;
How do I do this for a 1.5-lb leg of lamb? I tried, but the lamb completely cooked through before becoming flaky/shredded like yours. :/ It is tender and delicious, but sliceable, not flaky.
tasty
Looks delicious but could I cut it up in small cubes before I cook it? I feel that smaller bites are easier for me to eat. With the recipe work if I cooked it the same way just cut in small cubes ??
What if you don't have a "fan forced oven"? I'm not wanting to remodel my kitchen just to be able to make this! 😅
It’s called convection and it is a feature of most ovens. My toaster oven does it.
Cook much?
@tanizaki just buy new kitchen equipment 😂
It looks wonderful, but honestly, it is too much time consuming😊😋
Slow cooked is in the title . Jesus Christ? How lazy are people lol.
When I make this I just call it New Zealand roast lamb 🇳🇿 😎 🚬 🐑 🐏
It looks delicious but a long time in the making.
Yes. Slow cooked is in the title.
why buy the best cut of meat if you're going to cremate it ! maybe a shoulder of lamb but even that would be over cooked if roasted for that long
It’s called browning and it happens in the oven.
I would watch this but your voice is SO OUT THERE in so "many" ways. Cannot stand it.
Oh hey, I don’t give a 💩. Go watch another channel. Jesus Christ,
180 sounds way to hot for cooking for 6 hours. At that temp you would have a burnt offering. 130 or maybe 140 might give a better end result.
I tried your receipt and found 180c was too high. All the fluid boiled away and almost burnt the meat. Next time I'll try 150c.
Sorry to hear that Chris! I've had loads of people try this recipe and have success with it. Sounds like the adjustment would work! Let me know how you go and have a great holiday!
@@TheScranLineEveryday yes depends on which tray level you put roast on.
@@TheScranLineEveryday name some then
I go 140 or 160 as I have a really hot oven and then I monitor it and bring to 180 before serving for colour. It depends on the level and setting of your oven.
Watch it like a baby, monitor it, and cook it slow.. great video btw
Total of 6 hours cooking at 180???
That’s way too much. 140- 150 if you have the time or 160-170 for half the time
Can you use this same method with lamb shoulder? or it needs cooking for longer?
That looks SO delicious!
Has anyone tried this in a slow cooker?
th-cam.com/video/1RIpR2ZrLNM/w-d-xo.html
I’m sure it’s beautiful, but I love to eat pink slices of my lamb!
I wonder if it would be sacrilegious to try this in a pressure cooker lol
I thought the same thing 🤪
@@kimberlitalv1284 I think its 90 minutes in IP, dadcooks recipe.
Fan oven or just regular over/under heat?
I used a fan forced oven. If you're using a convection oven the temperature needs to be 20C higher N x
@@TheScranLineEveryday thank you
ohmygod im making this
Wow 🤩 looks delicious 😋!!! Thanks for sharing!!
That looks so yummy but with power prices so expensive these days, cooking it for 6 hours ? I think I can only do it as a treat !
5 hours
Dude cut the ink off. wtf. lol
Get a life.
You say it’s “fall off the bone lamb” but in one of your comments you say it’s boneless. I’m going to use two 8 lb legs with the bone and have the butcher cut off the shank. How much time for 2 legs 8 lbs each WITH the bone. Btw: my grandmother had a pan like that, wish we still had it
180 for one hour, then down to 140 for 6 hours, turn oven off and leave to rest in oven overnight
This is great in a slow cooker, 7-8 hours on low
That's gonna be delicious
its so juicy and yummy thank you for sharing
Can you use a dutch oven?
Looks like it's burnt😊
Hi Nick! Desperate to try this one. I've found your recipe but no measurements.
Hi! It's at the very bottom of the post in the recipe card :)
This looks so good 🤤
tokapses
Ok well then cook it yourself and make your own video. Kk?
I can cook a whole cow in 8 hours.
I can eat a whole cow in 8 hours.
Good for you both, not for the cow though
Thank you.... Happy Easter!
Yummy scrummy!! This looks awesome.
Why is everyone cooking it to shit
Two ways to cook lamb, fast and nice and rare or slow long cooking with fall off the bone tender. 90 minutes in IP.
Tell me about it, there was almost fuck all left on that leg by the time it was done😂😂😂😂😂
Can u cook a meal with herbs and madeira instead of spoiling it with garlic and paprika. Well burnt also. Awful
Hey marg, go and watch another channel. No need to watch any of my videos ever again.
