It's hilarious it's come to this way that these guys who can't even manage to shine their shoes are telling Pep what to do, criticizing him and slamming him.. Pep will find a way and he definitely knows what's wrong.. He's just being patronizing, trying to protect his players
They didn’t spend cause they just won 4 in a row and thought it would be the same old business this season. We’ll see what happens over the January transfer window.
@@kushpop-420 City football group has a network of football teams across the globe. They easily can funnel players to man city without a problem. Just accept that man city thought they were in a good spot and didn’t make any moves.
Pep and Txiki were complacent. Winning made them arrogant and blinkered. Emanuel Petit is spot on, especially about Bernardo and KDB. Regarding the defence none have been great, but Walker has been shocking
That video Petit referenced was not from the LFC loss in Nov. Look at his outfit completely different - suit vs normal black pants, sweater and jacket, the trees are green in the background. Apparently it was following the FA cup final loss
So when its going badly its the players fault and its not Pep losing his touch or whatever. So therefore when they are winning games surely it should also be because they have the best players. I almost thought Petit was going to say something like that but then he reverted to the lazy media trope of "Pep is the best manager" even though he has had the best players to use. Crazy
Pep can only do it one way the easy way by having a top players and a rich owners, he looks absolutely clueless doesn’t know how to fix the problem for real for real 😂😂
Pep can’t solve the problems until he recognizes and accepts that he is the root problem in the short term with his tactical setup being something his current players simply cannot execute, and hence why we’re losing so much. If Pep adapts his system, even just defensively, like he did in the treble season, City will start improving. Continue doing what’s failed and you’ll get more failure. Plain and simple
Not sure how to fix the defensive situation with so many players injured tho (Akanji,Stones,Ake). I guess he could give the youngsters like Simpson-Pusey a chance. My opinion is that the current players are just bad defensively: Gvardiol as a centreback does not work , Rico Lewis as a rightback does not work, Kyle Walker is struggling on the left... Completely agree with Petit that Pep should have signed more players.
The squad is constructed with players to play in a very specific way. They’ve also been coached intensely in that manner. He can’t change it. He doesn’t have a different type of player even if he wanted to completely change the set up.
@@Heyhey7764-e8s Our last 2 windows have been terribly poor and Pep apparently did not want new players this past summer (allegedly). As for the fix with the defense, would it not make sense fortify our defense tactically to help stop the goal bleeding? Go to a flat back 4 (no more inverting) and bring the super high backline down a bit so we are not caught with our pants down every time there is a turnover? We played that in the treble season vs team that were very good like RM away and then when Pep wanted to be more aggressive, inverted Stones and played a back 3. No we can't keep goals out AND we have lots of injuries, to your point, so would it not be pragmatic to change the defensive shape slightly to shure it up? Give the defense more time, structure and bodies to stop leaking so many goals on the counter? Yet Pep seems to want to play a system that we objectively cannot carry out as proven by 1 win in 10. Thoughts?
@@MCFCTheMadHatter Yes , agree completely with everything you say. My thoughts on the defensive part: Out of possession Pep should stop pressing so high (they can't seem to get a coordinated press...) sit back deeper a bit, and wait for the opponent to make a mistake. Most of the times the front press gets easily bypassed leading to pseudo counter attack! Not sure who is to blame for this, probably it's due to the aging players and Haaland lacking "pressing iq". If they recover the ball they will have no problem in build up that is with getting gegen-pressed as city are still very press resistant. In possession, don't push the defensive line so high up, especially since Rodri and Kovacic gone (now he's back tho). Gundogan and Rico Lewis are not cdm's ! Neither is Bernardo ! Above all they lack physicality and suck at the subtle tactical fouls that prevent counter attacks, the ones Rodri is so good at. Next game against United (15th Dec) , please don't play Lewis at cdm! Play Kovacic in the Rodri role ! At least it's something. Still talking in possession : another serious problem are the winger imo, what does Pep want from them? He wants them to risk 1-on-1 dribbles while city have an insane high line ! Doku is no good for a struggling city imo (he is overrated I find), maybe place Grealish at the left wing ? He might lack the explosiveness, but his decision making and passing are leagues above Doku's. Savinho is good I think, often he is lacks the support needed and has to face 2-vs-1, his final pass is decent but could use some work... So to summarize all the ideas, here is how I would setup against Man.United next game: Walker- Diaz - Pusey (lol) - Gvardiol De Bruyne - Kovacic- Bernardo Savinho - Haaland - Grealish In possession , don't press high - sit a bit deeper. In build up, do what you usually do and force the opponent into their own half/third. When in their third, Gvardiol joins the right side attack, hopefully combining with Jack and Bernardo to create a chance for Haaland. On the left De Bruyne can combine with Savinho and Walker. DO NOT force Savinho into needless 1-vs-1's , even when being down. In case of a counter attack Kovacic should be the first option , if he fails Pusey (a natural cb) should not make a catastropic mistake ( like out-of-position cb Gvardiol against Juve or Palace...).The side backs should not struggle so much since they are in their natural positions. Rico Lewis can eventually come on, when someone gets tired... Ok, those were some of my takes:) So frustrating seeing Pep playing 4d chess when the team is struggling ! Keep it simple !
He can't solve it, without spending . But here is the problem, they can't spend cos of FFP😂😂😂😂. Pep is a genius my ar_e, only good manger with breaking FFP rules 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

7 losses out of 10 yeah he really does know what's wrong 😂
Everything tells me charges are incoming especially as they never spent on new players needed, something just isn't right

Totally agree, exactly what I’ve been thinking 🤔… something is a miss …
I think Kante or Frankie de Jong on a 6 month loan in Jan would make a huge difference.

Pep is the best. He will find the way.
He can't find a way it's been 10 games 😅😅😅
When Pep supposedly bit last week ..Was after the fa cup final last season
Man C players have lost their individuality. Pep systemised them. Pep failed to find a way to optimise players individual strengths.
Emmanuel, legend.
how many games must city go without win before Pep gets sacked ? 10,15,20 ? Surely after 20 , no 😂 ?
No one expected such a fall from grace. Ageing squad, poor transfer activity and massive underperformance from too many players

Have seen that Bernardo have been on slowly decline the last seasons.
It’s the end of this incredible city team and now it’s time for a rebuild

This is why idealists are insufferable. Constantly trying to mold reality into their system. Even if it means swimming against the current.

Tried to explain to the guy why I was laughing so loud and we ended up laughing alone💞
I didn't think it was possible to laugh so hard until I watched this video. Now my makeup is smudged, but it was worth it💖
My dog watched this video with me and now thinks she's a star. It's time for her to start Instagram💚
If I had a ruble for every time we laughed at this video, I'd be rich by now🍭
I showed this video to my friend and now her boyfriend wants to try it too. Laughter and fun guaranteed💕
