- Hey, friends!!! Let’s go back to 1989 with this gem by a living legend. Mitchell Jambo’s VIMBISO was an instant hit and it quickly went platinum. He was backed on this one by the Zimbabwe Cha Cha Cha Kings.
The song sings praises of Vimbiso, a wholesome young lady whom the singer vows to marry. He says, “her character fills a cup like water enough to quench all of our thirst”. He warns people not to mess with her because he doesn’t like quarreling 🤣🤣🤣.
I have to say this song was guitar gymnastics!!! 😰😰😅😅. It gave me a massive workout. I hope you enjoy the outcome.

I can play ZIvanayi's music from track to track, especially in my car. I'm also a guitarist like you and I find inspiration on the need to to revive Zimbabwe's yesteryear music. This is the only way we can let our children know about what our music scene was like when we were also growing up as they are doing now.
