An excellent and informative interview. You’ve covered most of the topics that you would want to know before contemplating a move to Alanya.
Now I’m showing my age and would like to get vital information for when you get old and perhaps you live by yourself. As an example, you live in Alanya by yourself and find that you need help either casually or on a permanent basis.
To start off,who would you turn to initially? What facilities are in place for these people? What would be the current costs involved for such help?
No good relocating to a new country and city and not taking into account that ONE DAY you will be needing such services and if you don’t know who is going to look after you or how much it’s going to cost you, because you could virtually end up in the street with no roof over your head and no one looking after you, basically because of unaffordability.
Looking forward to hearing from you on this very important subject matter.

Hi) thanks for watching and your comment) now as to getting help when older; it offcourse depends on your financial well-being. The best way offcourse is to get a hired help. A lot of trained medical professionals in Alanya, because of the university here. They will be ready to work five days a week for you for about 700-1000 euro per month. Another thing is mobility, you will need to be able to go to a hospital, dokter etc. For treatments or checkups. This will by the way all be covered in your health insurance, which is cheap here. (25 euro per month is the luxury packet). A scooter or a 4 wheel electric cart (like a golf cart) can be driven easily without a license. Basically, a lot of options, and healthcare here is of good quality and not expensive.

Excellent video, answered a lot of my questions as I have a desire to settle n Alanya though after the last earthquake in Turkey/Syria forcing some questions about the construction code enforcement in Turkey. I hope it's not endemic everywhere. Thanks!

Thanks) in our region its all normal, building regulations are followed here. We pray for the people who are afected by the earthquake, and help where we can!
