We have a lot of knockoffs around Atlanta. What I have seen is, the soles are always terrible. I have just found it easier to buy from a very reputable retailer. I don't trust purchasing online when spending $1,000+ on kicks. Sometimes you have to take the risk but, I try to stay away from it.
It's best to buy straight from their website or a company you can sue like Neiman's or saks fifth. There are good websites. Farfetch is supreme. I buy my Balmain Jean's from them. 👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿

It says "Gommus". It's a brand that used to provide the soles for Giuseppe sneakers so some genuine pairs will indeed have that logo. I wasn't aware of that when I first uploaded the video though hence why it wasn't explained in the video. Thanks for the feedback.
I always purchase my Giuseppe from Neiman Marcus. I don't like purchasing online. The ones in the video should be a version of the Giuseppe Zanotti I purchased. (Metropolis Cina and Metropolis Blue). I also purchased the runway Sierra Silver. The boxes may be different because in you are in America you CANNOT purchase from the European website. You are redirected to an American website. They are also cheaper in europ on the website. I just purchased the metallic Cina and blue colors. They were 1050 usd each but cheaper in Europe website. My boxes has Giuseppe Zanotti written over the front of a big thick sturdy black box. Comes with signatures on the black bags, and black shoe wipes (needed for the metallic). It has a card in a black cardholder which explains the shoe. My Sierra Silver also comes in the same box with the same inserts minus the wipe (not needed). Many factors include, style, season, year, European vs American purchase, etc... I'm not sure how this video was developed, but it's definitely not the template for authenticity. Maybe it's just people who are new to purchasing thousand dollar plus shoes? Or being unfamiliar to the fashion industry? In not sure. But I definitely can't agree with this video as is! My advice, purchase directly from the company or go to approved vendors! There shouldn't be many approved vendors in America outside of Nieman Marcus. Secondly, go to Nieman Marcus to see how is packaged before you purchase second hand goods. I personally find it disgusting to wear used shoes someone else had there nasty feet in. If you can afford a Giuseppe, you should not be risking for infections. If you can't afford Giuseppe, don't buy 300 dollar knockoffs. Purchase a shoe in that price range that was not worn! Health over vanity! Only my opinion! Best of luck!
It depends on exactly what model you have and when it was manufactured though. There are often slight changes to items over time so just because yours looks slightly different to the authentic in the video does not 100% mean it's a fake. I suggest taking it to a Zanotti boutique to have it check if you're worried about it.
