As a KU bball fan, I had to find this game & watch the highlights again... This team was LOADED & probably would've won the championship in 2020. I hate that covid took March Madness away from these guys and us fans in 2020-what a shame.
But I'm so happy & proud of Coach Self and the team for winning the Championship this year!! RCJH
Baylor the number 1 team in the country, on it's home floor only led this game for 3:17 of 40 minutes of game action. And I'm sure it was similar the other way around when these two teams met in Lawrence earlier this season. These two teams are legit and if you don't come ready to play when facing them, you're going to lose. Great game. Rock Chalk!
Devon Dotson was becoming Self's BEST PG in his coaching tenure at Kansas.
Azubuike WAS the best big man in terms offense & defense efficiency he's ever had at KU.
Kansas by March 1st 2020? Absolutely simply UNBEATABLE.
Big time college basketball game here and both these teams will play at least one more time(Big12 tournament finals) and maybe two(final four) imo. Kansas ran the pick and roll to perfection and Baylor never figured it out which is easier said than done.
Thank GOD my Kansas City Chiefs won SBLIV just month b4. It somewhat took pain away fr my Jayhawks not getting play in the cancelled 2020 NCAA Tournament.

Before Davion Mitchell’s quickness was known to everyone last year it was Dotson who was quicker and better the year before we would’ve won the 2020 Nation championship had it not been for Covid

i wouldnt say this was the weakest the BIG 12 had been..but they had a down year...i though Texas Tech would be a lot better, thought WVU would be a lot better...

If zags ever meet up with Kansas I would put the ball in the post to petrusev, tillie, and timme every time and get that big guy in foul trouble. Baylor has no post up players! Athletic yes they are but lack serious height. You can't let anyone have that many dunks especially when he shoots 43% from FT line. Poor coaching on baylor's part in this game.
