The smallest Lego piece is the infinity stone.
You can use the flame piece at a stem on a turnip/radish
Take a green/yellow semi-sphere piece and stick a flame on top. Then put the semi-sphere on a brown brick and you have a growing turnjp/radish

The golden ring should be the winner of smallest piece, let me explain. So the ring might cover the same amount of space as the 1x1 Stud, but the total mass of it is less, since it is not filled in the center. And, if you took the ring shape and bent it into a straight line, it pull be shorter than the Storm Trooper Antennae. Thank you for your time.

i smaller piece I can think of is from this series called Galaxy Squad (smth like that) and some of their minifigs were humanoid bugs, and some had this really small antennae that I found so easy to misplace 😭
