Love the enthusiasm of bumping in to an old mate. I had something similar in DotA last year - was matched on the same team as an old friend and teammate. We had competed at a couple of offline events a few years prior. We dual-laned offlane just like we did all those years ago. I would remark "Just like old times" when we got a kill in lane. We then lost the game, 'just like old times'.

Its funny to give advice to you, but maybe you will actually look: the 50 pop bear army + dh + keeper with your micro should win the mid game and then its expansion ggwp. The timing is very important - to wait for that 50 pop. 4 bears 3 dryads. Its the only way I win with my horrible micro.
Could be good, but remind micro so strong, ensnared bear dying also give more xp to opponent
Think what lost him the game more than anything else were the AOW spam and the throw with the KOTG death

Keeper had full mana at the end of a bunch of fights, even died with full mana. Mana being used by orc despite having manaburn. Maybe even immolation would have been useful here as you got surrounded a bunch by the mass raiders.

ReMind is absolutely a legend. Yeah, him and Sky had crazy, insane, bonker levels of micro. I've always said that my dream would be to watch Sky Vs Happy with Sky in top shape. Can you imagine what that would look like? The Robot Vs The Freak(Sky)🤣🤣🤣🤣I suspect even Happy would suddenly find himself being unable to save low HP units that he usually saves. Especially since Human only race with chance Vws UD these days.

Most of the orc losses were in grunts vs dryads match up and you never got staff. Cmon now, you can't complain about staff/moonwells as orc then not use them when it's your turn

Try KOTG first, Panda 2nd Vs Orc, DH isn't so impressive Vs Orc, they don't rely on mana so much and have burrows against immolation, Keeper gives extra melee units and is better for harassing lumber peons, Panda is for DMG, especially if you run dryads, they don't do much burst
Can anyone explain to a complete noob why does Grubby goes mass dryads vs raiders? Feels like he is really struggling with them, but I saw it time and time again.
I also don't understand the point of not building expo, but I'm bronze so I have no idea what is behind it
he tried to expo but it kept getting cancelled cos he has no map control after he lost his army in the first push. i think game is super over at that point but he stays in for fun i guess. but ye i also do not understand why he does not go t3 + bears tbh, it is expensive but he wasted loads of lumber on nature's blessing + aows anyway.

I'm at awe your remind won with mass dryads. My opponents often just go for mass wolfs and I just don't understand how NE can win with mass dryads, but I guess he saw the shamans and countered
Grubby you were playing orc timing instead of NE. Orc has power spike vs NE just after second hero. Unless you fast bear'd, it's time to CC/defend, and if possible have an expo started to split focus. You even had gold enough for expo.
After you finished creeping the top marketplace, I was thinking "time to get ready for orc push". but instead, you ran into his base and suicided almost all, it's the last thing NE want to do there. Just need to be defensive until either expo or t3 arrived.
Your micro so good, somehow held on for a bit, but no recovering after that XD
lol I remember watching Remind when he would offrace as orc, when versing Undead because the matchup was just much better than NE vs Undead

If you want dps early go huntress
Late go bears
Dryads are also not dps, just cc
If you want dps hero go demon into panda into keeper
I can see how going snakes helps with mana efficiency against dh but honestly hex probably wins that keeping sh on the back lines. Although I'm also just scrub. Just a personal opinion. Also felt grubby army was pincered in due to the layout of that final attack. If he had more space it was gg
when grub needs to use orcs, that shows how good remind is
15:08 after 20 years of dota, i have concluded that the proper way to enjoy dota is with the chat turned off and in turbo mode. The regular matches are too long and there is way too much pve. Everything irl is anyoing you because you need to extract yourself out of the real world for 60min or more. Also, i do not see any reason to inflict the dota chat on me. I even have some of my friends muted when i play dota, because they turn into vampires when they play dota.
Also there is nothing wrong with being annoyed when someone is telling you what to do, what to say and not to say. In fact, you can just say no to all of them and be sure that you made the right decision 99% of the time. To an extent, parents are the only exception to that rule, but only when you are very young.
I think Grub should always go for a creative, or at least unusual strat.
The more the opponent is good, the more our Grub should be unconventionnal as he was back in the good old days.
I might be wrong, Im no pro, maybe at high level, victory is up to a hair and you can be punished for any crazy attempt outside the most efficient strats. But I dont think so. I think that this old rule applies everywhere: "He who dares wins."
And if I may put another view on, I think the mindset versus strong players is bad. Here again, too sweet asking Remind if it's actually him. I already knew the game was lost. This is a war. And you're the king of orcs, all shall bow down.
No kiddin, you bring more than anyone else on this earth to this game. You know nearly every little stats and mechanics. I dont follow other players, but Im pretty sure they dont have the same knowledge.
Maybe it's just the youtube friendly video streaming format that is not suitable to a winning mindset. Maybe you no longer in a competitive mode. Yeah probably.

Just got back into wc3. Always been an undead main however I went to night elf this time. Currently 4 and 9
Maybe get treants instead of thorns aura to help with more units ?. Needed more of a shield for dryds try fast expo bears and a few mgs 🤷🏻♂️.
I think you need to fast expo on EI if youre going to play dryads and mass to 70. since he didnt go walkers just spam treants and harass his expo attempts. buy mercs to stop his t2 timing
I havent played ranked league in a few years but, I found Grubby in 2024 and I uninstalled league to make room for Warcraft 3. 2nd best decision I ever made, after quitting ranked league.

Bears are a t3 inclusion. Very late game. T2 bears are kited and borderline useless.
Grub he's more machinally skilled. Gotta push on that micro skills harder.

Deamon hunter flame not evasion and dont go for strait flights full army but use gorilla tactics using best night Elf vision chiuse your flights.

Can we please note it in the title when there's more than one game in the video? I got jebaited thinking this was gonna be an old school 40 minute down to the wire banger vs ReMinD. Instead Grubby gets gifted a free item, BMs ReMinD with it and then suicides into a choke point vs ranged units without bringing any demolishers vs dryads. It was a good game, but it was disappointing because of the expectations the video title created.
I do appreciate the after game analysis. It was neat seeing that Grubby realized the same things that I was thinking while watching the game and I respect the ability to reflect on things that quickly without reviewing the replay. Natural talent at work.

Why people go mass dryads? Always sucks, no? I mean, with no other units. Even from the purely atk/def standpoint: you make a bunch of piercing damage against a mass of normal armor? I mean, it's gotta suck? He in turn has loads of siege + piercing (snakes) that tear dryads to shreds. soooo..? whyyyy

You've been doing all these different builds, but you're still mostly a 1 base truist. You've been better about going over 50 lately than you were a year ago, but the cost seems to have been at expanding, and WC3 is an economy game as much as everything else.

Noob, coming from starcraft here. Tried few races and I feel that NE so UP comparing to the rest... Awful auras on heroes, non-existent top tier units, bad air, these mediocre dryads, overall bad synergy of heroes and army, no dps burst, bad economy. Feels like uphill battle all the time.
How about some Rocket league content? Gg as always.

orc is the easiest race to play. you just buy a hero and click on a unit you want to kill. that's it. : )
