Exactly right. I was a two state solution Jew b/c of the experiance of the Sinai. No more. Land for peace, maritime borders for peace, peace for peace, money for peace all failures. The land is Jewish. Send the Arabs to Jordan. That is the real Palestine and 70% of the mandate

There are 3 solutions to this conflict in my opinion.
    1) there will be a major war which will mean most of one side will die.
    2) most of one side will be expelled
    3) the Arabs will create a state in Gaza and possibly receive some land from Sinai and call it a day.
Israel cannot afford to have a minority of Jews in a Jewish state. The Arabs have plenty of land elsewhere. We can manage with a population of 20%. More than that would not be sustainable and very dangerous. I would love to have peace but the idea of the Arabs being a majority in the country won’t get us there, it’s a death sentence.

    • @CreatorDestroyer3515
      @CreatorDestroyer3515 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +13

In my opinion. As an Israeli, and as a Jew. It's entirely unacceptable for me that we become a minority in our own country. What the future yields, is up to various interpretations. Some of which you already presented. But in my opinion, Israel will most likely take preventive measures to the point where there will not be a situation as you presented. Except for the expulsion part, if opposite, at the very least, there would be integrative methods used to keep intact the Jewish identity of the state, to which means I do not know. At the very least as I mentioned, there will be no acceptable means by which Israel will be a non-Jewish majority state and forfeit its identity to those who would abolish its nature as the Jewish homeland. In other words....

@@elkcharames4000 Maybe Americans should've thought about establishing a country somewhere devoid of the native population. ETC. Most populations have displaced other populations at one point or another throughout history. It doesn't matter who's on the land, majority or otherwise, what matters is the sovereignty of the land. Also, Jews have a historical connection to the land, and out of any claim by ethnicity ours is the most valid. Regardless, the land is under our sovereign control. Much like America is under the sovereign control of the Americans. Americans shouldn't give their land back to the natives, nor should we submit and give our land to a population who went to war with us, us who rightfully claimed the land, when we declared independence. Don't forget, they rejected the option for an independent state before the inception of Israel. Then they attacked Israel when we declared our independent nation.
In other words, they lost, now they want to cry about it.

Fleisher’s solution makes them at least a semipermanent subjugated population but actually a less subjugated population than they are now. This might be the best way available. No solution makes any sense; this may be the least evil. He’s right about how Arabs view land. They viewed October 7 as a vast sign of Jewish weakness. They said so at the time.

On the other hand they could live a good life under the one state solution. Sorry I can`t call them Palestinians because they were not able to build a nation till now. They don`t even tryed it in 76 years which is showing that they have big probs with each other and this also since 76 years. Just to think there would be a 2 state solution and they will cause a civil war between each other because of having a different view and how a nation should be is a big problem...As long as they are not able to live peaceful they should be under controll till they have learned that a peaceful life is possible with or in Israel.

I understand that Israel has civil jurisdiction over Zone B in Judea and Samaria and should not allow Jewish settlements but does that mean it could allow Druze, Mandean, or Yezidi or otherrefugees to settle there ? Could it poll the Arabs in Judea and Samaria if they'd prefer to live in Jordan, a Palestinian state or in a Jewish state and if they want to live in Palestine then they should move to Gaza? And could Gaza be expanded to create a larger Palestinian State? It seems the issue is that Judea and Samaria has a large population with animosity towards Israel and who would not make good citizens and Israel would need to change the demographics significantly if it chose to annex (given the legal principle 'uti possidetis juris).

Interviewer sadly interrupted when listing shades of residency solutions. Listed three solutions, but could not hear the fourth or fifth. But yes, they must be vetted residents just for starters. Jihadis need to be put out, exported, to Jordan, Egypt, Turkey, Iran, Algeria or Yemen where they belong. Istael needs to learn to vet, vet well, and show the world how to vet for sufficient loyaltues to create a high trust society despite different races. You can't have killer political parties that outvote the founding principles of Israel, and/or outbreed. Need to put a stop to the inbreeding of killer political ideology through the propagandizing of the next generation (children). In other words basic governance with the conviction that your culture is the superior, despite its own problems. Your culture must be the rule for all residents without exception. Citizenship really needs to be earned and deserved by vetted loyalists. Israel needs to define what that means and what the process will be to determine whom is loyal to the founding principles. Anyone complaining about the right to vote or hold a position in the juduciary is probably not loyal to begin with and needs to go vote in Jordan where they belong. A loyalist would clearly understand why Israel must reserve and cultivate citizenship carefully. Just being a resident in a high trust society is a huge benefit in and of itself, just as it is a benefit to catch a ride instead of walking. Yes, they need to be declared territories and be made safe enough to live next to, as well safe enough to purchase land within and to live amongst. The US has provided a model with "Indian Reservations" but Israel needs to go beyond that and make it clear that the territory belongs to Israel with a degree of oversight as much or more than the Federal US has over US 'Indian reservations".

I really think it depends on the original (and ongoing) reason for the administration method being kept in mind and for that mission to never waver.
An example where that was obviously lost track of was in Southern Lebanon, which was taken as a result of series of Hezbollah attacks and was administered as buffer/security zone between Israel and Lebanon from 1985 until 2000. It seemed like Israelis had basically forgotten why Lebanon was invaded and Southern Lebanon created over the course of those fifteen years and the resultant peace in northern Israel, with Israelis apparently wondering why the IDF was there in the first place.
UN Resolution 1701 "No armed forces other than UNIFIL and Lebanese (implying Hezbollah and Israeli forces) will be south of the Litani River" was basically ignored and not enforced by Lebanon and UNIFIL "sitting on their hands", with Hezbollah simply waltzing straight back up to the border and start firing rockets into Israel again.

Gentile here, if that matters. I was eager to hear the video, seeing its title. Hoping that perhaps Yishai would espouse what I see as the only rational course, one that I've not seen anyone put forward publicly. Yes, the one state part is the start, and should be the easiest part. The second part is where I diverge from everyone, and yet my position has vast historical precedence.
Yishai's vision became vastly muddled when challenged about the security, presenting a check-point and security concern issue on steroids. And while his 'residency' concept is not without merit, it simply won't wash long term, presenting a perpetual political storm, accusations of apartheid and disenfranchisement; nope don't go there. However a nuanced version may have a role in the right 'recipe'.
Clearly, there never has been more of an example of a 'cat not changing their stripes' in regards to religious dogma used for private power seeking, as that which we've seen in the Islamic world. The west once had its own hellstorm of this.
My recipe, interestingly enough goes farther on both ends of the one-state spectrum. Israel should take the steps needed to safe guard its people.
The wars have been won. There is no part of Israel which is not its sovereign territory. The only occupation going on is by an internal population of rebelious dissenters seeking not only to live under an Islamic state themselves, but also committed to convert the entire State of Israel to operate under Islamic law, and to as much as possible eradicate Jews, as well as Christians, and any non-Muslim populations.
There is no living with this situation, that has been tried, and thousands have suffered in the effort of appeasement. A radical change MUST take place, or else thousands more will perish as well. Just as major populations were, peacefully, relocated in Europe after WWII in order to bring about more geographically unified ethnic groupings, and thus to lessen border disputes, this MUST occur today in the Middle-East. Wisdom must prevail over selfishness and power seekers.
But, merely ejecting a population based solely upon ethnicity or religion is not civil. No, every non-Israeli citizen in Gaza, Samaria and Judea, shall have a path, even a short path, to citizenship.
If one wishes to remain in Israel (or Palestine or some), all they need do is to take an oath of allegiance to the State of Israel, to include fully accepting that the land of Israel (and Judea) are the historic homeland of the Jewish people, that Jews have a right of return, to swear to defend the state, and to condemn all forms of Islamic Jihadism. These oaths are to both be in document or oral recordings, video taped. I imagine there is a slice of those living in the 'West Bank' and Gaza who are not zealots, who are more passionate about loving their children and wishing them well rather than using them as fodder in religious based warfare.
An age requirement can be determined for needing to take the oath. The youngest of children under 5 year of age, whose parents or parent take the oath shall get citizenship. Children from 5 up, to the determined age, shall be allowed to stay with their parents, but will at that oath age be required themselves to take the oaths, else will not get citizenship.
Those choosing not to take the oaths, and their children, shall get deported, with a number of months allowed to pursue a host country. Deportees shall get payments for all real property, at valuations set by a board to consist of mostly Arab-Israelis. Each deported family, regardless of property ownership, shall get a relocation/resettlement payment, to be determined. All of these considerations are like Gold-Class status, compared to what Jewish-Arabs experienced in their mostly forced/pressured emigration out of Arab countries.
I suspect that fewer than one in ten adult Muslims/Palestinians will take a, video taped, public oath as outlined above. Thus, of the roughly 5 million population in Gaza and the 'West Bank' no more than 500,000 new Israeli citizens will be produced.
So, how to handle the deportation process . . . several details already provided. Assistance with finding host countries will be provided. What is helpful with this is that the families will not be arriving in a new country penniless. Those with real property in Israel will have compensation for it, plus the relocation payment, making them the most attractive emigrees. However, the relocation payments will provide funds for living costs of several months, the exact amounts to be determined.
Yes, it does sound costly, but consider the cost of not doing it. Consider the fiscal resources, not just in Israel but worldwide which have been showered upon the world's special refugees, with no long term peace to show for it.
A one year or 6 month limit will come at which point those 'deportees' who have not successfully emigrated out of the country must be detained. This is necessary in order to begin two processes, to demilitarized the borders surrounding the West Bank and Gaza, to eliminate check points, and plan for tearing down barricades and walls, and more importantly for those who took the oaths to be able to feel secure, and live as and where they please within Israel. Because of a risk of reprisals, familes who take the citizenship oaths will be offered temporary housing in locations where such risk are low.
Those detained will be provided with continued assistance in locating a suitable relocation situation. Pressure will be ramped up, especially on nearby countries, to accept a share of the remaining deportees.
The addition of 500,000 to the existing Arab/Muslim-israeli population will still keep a sizeable majority Jewish population, along with Arab/Muslims who love their children more than they love following the zealots who hate Jews.

Many are descendants of migrant workers who arrived in the area from the now Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Kuwait, Jordan , Saudi Yemen, Turkey, etc...arrived under the Ottoman Empire then British Mandate to find work in the developing area...ergo...not from that area and have not lost land tk anyone....over 85% of land was owned by the State....less than 8% of land was owned by Arab landlords and many sold poor quality land at exorbitant costs to Jews....in a nutshell....many did not own land....detailed land registration documents are available and anyone who has a claim can go to a tribunal to prove ownership....
Maybe...if the ones who left hadn't...like the Arab Israelis who didn't attack the Israelis and stayed to live in peace and prosperity then this part of the world would be less volatile.

I am not a Jew, but I do read the Bible and have an understanding thereof. when HaShem speaks He does so with a certainty and absoluteness that cannot and should not be questioned, or viewed in woolly terms - he is precise! When He spoke to Abraham He said: '..I am giving you and your descendants the WHOLE land of Canaan, as an EVERLASTING possession.' There is no ambiguity it is the ENTIRE land and it is for Israel ALWAYS. It does not matter how many times He exiles you, it remains your land and He will bring you back to it! It does not matter how any people and how many times they try to carve it up and give it to the Arabs as tokens of their envisioned peace, it will not work! What HaShem said to Abraham is as good as done, it is immutable!
This is why nothing the western world, the league of nations, the UN et al works regarding this issue. You can see this from the image of reality: the so called 'Palestinians' do not want a two-state solution, they want the annihilation of all Jews and they want the whole land of Canaan as theirs. Every time the two-state thing is offered they reject it and start wars and intifadas. If you wish you can be secular in your perception and say this is the reason it never succeeds. However, this is the mechanism, or the cause, not the divine directive. The directive is the will of HaShem and Him keeping His promise to Abraham. And this is why the two-state solution is a western myth, and it will never work.
No one has the right to divide Israel up and that error was from my predecessors the Brits. Even Israel cannot change this with all the kindness and concessions they have given the Arabs (Palestinians) over the years. All done in good faith by Israel, and commendable in the search for peace and not war, but Israel cannot change the will of HaShem. Israel has now seen this, the world also needs to see this. Any talk of a two-state solution is like talking about changing the law of gravity!

In fact this podcasts is unfair namely because he the interviewer does not have a Palestinians spokesman. Replying to the fact of a occupying army and the weaponized of lies .And without doubt Israel should have a recognised the Palestinians population as equals to the Israeli a long time ago.
