Parau Festival of the Municipality of Pilar, Sorsogon emerged as Grand Champion during the Kasanggayahan Festival 2023 Historico-Cultural Street Dance Competition held at Sorsogon Capitol Park, Sorsogon City, Sorsogon, besting 13 other contingents for the top prize of ₱300,000. The Champion also bagged the Best in Costume and Props. In addition, the Champion will also compete on the upcoming Festival of Festivals Competition on October, 17, 2023.
