Annie, Garrett, and “Ski Cap” getting Jeff to accidentally start teaching is one of my favorite moments from the entire series. Glad you appreciated it as well.
Honestly, I feel it’s a shame they didn’t go more in depth with Jeff teaching, although I understand that the show was more about one-off escapades and not continuity. But since the last two seasons had continuity for the Save Greendale Committee, I was disappointed to see no care given to Jeff’s teaching career.
It was delightful watching you be delighted with that pilot. Dan's voice in the writing really is the basis for everything in this show.

Your expressions do really convey a feeling of returning home, and right from the start. It's finally Community again and you can feel it.
Repilot make so much sense
Repilot is such a special episode. It immediately gives off the familiar feeling of season 1-3, jokes per minute go through the roof, although these are punctuated with drama at the perfect moments and it has a satisfying Harmon story circle.
Also Jeff does the heavy lifting in this episode (similar to the Pilot) and I'm not sure there is a scene which doesn't involve Jeff at all. As such, it is one of Joel McHale's strongest performances from the entire run going through defeated man, sleezy lawyer, exacerbation at the group, controlled rage at Allan, authoritative confrontation with the Dean and happiness to be back with the Community at the end of the episode. Love it!
I am so excited to hear you are going to start Bojack Horseman. Get ready to laugh, cry, and cringe because it is an animation masterpiece. Keep up the awesome reactions and happy new year!!!!
The season 5 repilot is extremely refreshing after the gas leak year.
I loved that you could feel that this was the old Greendale back, season 5 is such a return to form after the gas leak year

I actually love season 6. I get why people don't put it as highly though. Most of the cast is gone unfortunately. But there is so much creativity and exploration without the constraints of network television that I actually put it above season 1, with 2 and 3 being in a tier of their own.
3/7 of the "main" cast is gone so its not most. Plus Chang and the Dean are still here. Plus most of the regulars. Garrett, Vicki and Leonard are in numerous episodes. Magnitude, Real Neal and Star-Burns only appear in one episode each though. John Oliver's Ian Duncan doesn't appear though.
Frankie and Elroy were fantastic additions. Frankie's lecture to the Dean in the Honda episode cracks me up every time.

I think your upload format of 2 episodes in one video works perfectly for this since these two episodes are basically one giant pilot. The first is the basic set up and the second is everyone settling in to their new status quo along with Hickey as the new “old guy” in the group. A lesser show would’ve blown through all the story points of the first episode in the first act and then rushed into the new status quo. Here it’s stretched out a bit.
so glad we're here already. I absolutely love these last 2 seasons. there are multiple stand out episodes and my favorite episode should be coming up just in the next video 😍
and yes, these last seasons are for sure more dark a little bit of a different humor but it will be a nice segway into BoJack whom I love almost as much as Jeff Winger 😂😂😂

As much as I tell people that I don't hate season 4 as much as most diehard _Community_ fans, I have to say that season 5 makes it feel good to be back to this show as we know and love it 🙂

I think seasons 5 and 6 are as good as season 1. Some episodes are seasons 2/3 level.
I think that is quite accurate. They aren't as consistent as 2-3 but largely most of the episodes are better than most season 1 episodes.
A lot is going to change in seasons 5 and 6, and I know a lot of people say it's "not the same", but I love them a lot. Seasons 5 and 6 are *really* funny, just in new ways. I like them almost as much as the first three, and I think they're underrated. :)

Ana, another sci fi show, is Sliders. it was on Fox and is about a team that accidentally becomes interdimensional travellers.

Seasons 5 and 6 are full of indesputable bangers, many of which are widely concidered to be in the upper echelon of Community episodes.
I feel like a pretty fair judgment method is IMDB season averages, which goes: Season 4 (7.4 average) - S.6 (8.0) - S.1 (8.3) - S.5 (8.4) - S.2 (8.5) - S.3 (8.6)
As you can see, it's a close race at the top. So don't feel like the best is behind you. There is so much good to come!
I actually like season 4, but the exact moment that season 5 started, and we saw Jeff Winger dressed as a super-hero, I was like "Oh yeah, Dan Harmon is back."

I'm sorry but season 5 and 6 are actually really good (they just have some low points, but so many iconic moments)
Nic Cage movies you should watch: Face/Off, Con Air, National Treasure, the Wicker Man (this one's only if you want to watch a truly fascinating bad movie)
You should definitely look into watching some Nicholas Cage movies
I love 5 and 6 and in some ways prefer the new cast dynamics compared to the original group

Ana, if you want a good superhero show, there are 3 or more, but i like Smallville , which had 10 seasons and is about a young Superman before he becomes Superman and Stargirl which was also on the CW , is about Courtney Whitmore , we met her in one of the seasons of Smallville. and Heroes, which was a made up tv show on NBC about random people suddenly getting superpowers and what happens when that happens. the Gifted also was on Fox, it was a show set in the not too distant future about mutants getting there powers and what happens when the government reacts to it. it is an Xmen tv show..
You should watch mythic quest at some point too, Danny Pudi/Abed is on there as well lol
As whole seasons 5 and 6 aren't as breathtaking, but honestly a lot of my favorite episodes are in these last 2 seasons.
Give cages movie trapped in paradise a watch he goes full Nicholas cage several times and it's a good movie that has largely been forgotten
Ana, if you want a good sci fi show, watch the Sarah Connor Chronicles . it had 2 seasons and was on Fox and is set in between Terminator 2 and 3 and is one of the best tv shows i have ever seen.
Season 6 is one of my favorite seasons of community... right up there with s3. So don't let anyone tell you 5 and 6 are not as good
Ana, if you want a good detective show, i like Veronica Mars, it had 3? seasons and then a movie and 4 season i think, i like the original seasons . it's about a teenage girl detective .

Ana, if you want a funny show, watch the Knights of Prosperity , it had 2 seasons but season 1 i think is funnier. it was on abc and never released ? on dvd. it was made by David Letterman who had a funny late night talk show on nbc and then cbs.

season 5 is good, with some excellent episodes. Season 6, that i like too, is the season more problematic because the format is changed, the writing is different and too many actors left. Season 6 may not be good for everybody.
Ppl need to stop praising season 1 so hard. It’s the season with the highest number of weak episodes.
I'm sorry, season 5 and 6 are the best seasons for me. Especially season 6. Season 6 is perfect.

Hot take: I like season 4 more than season 5 and 6. Don’t get me wrong. The writing in the last two seasons is far better, but what sucked me into this show were the characters and the friendship that they had. Losing some of the cast really hurt the show for me in my opinion. I still loved it, just not as much.
Absolutely no way in hell are 5 & 6 incomparable to 1-3. Garbage. They are the best run seasons. That’s when they knew what they were doing and the writing is at it’s best. That’s when they were able to express themselves the freest. Over half of 5 is great and over half of 6 is great. Same as 1-3.
People say season 4 is the worst but I think 5 is way worse overall
Not a fan of Hickey at all. Leonard is a superior character compared to that guy from one of the most overrated shows of all time.
