This is one of the runs where I couldn’t get adrenaline up early fast enough. Usually I would just reset but sometimes you just want to fight the monster lol.
Im curious why u dont let it hit u to setup the heroics at the beginning? For bonus update, maybe not risen malzeno..i hope we can have some new badass variant of malzeno...
I’ll try to explain, some attacks give life steal which I obviously don’t want. (Tail thrust, the three qurious orbs, etc) On top of that Malzeno has a few attacks that are almost guaranteed to come after others. For example 0:46 is probably the worst move it could start with if I’m trying to proc adrenaline early (1. Because I can’t get hit by it or I get lifesteal 2. It is like a 99% after it will do the tail thrust, which I also don’t want to get hit by) knowing this I try to make it work because I’ve been there before. After that I tried to get hit at 1:03 but ofc it again does one of the worst moves it can do because that move is completely random in what direction it hits in and 9/10 it misses me no matter where I move unless the Malzeno is massive (Even ISS usually results in no level up to meter or any damage at all on successful counter) And time is dps obviously so if it takes me a minute of waiting to get adrenaline up then it effectively becomes useless because I could’ve been doing damage the whole time. I’m also on a time limit because my harvest moon is up plus my 3rd wirebug will eventually go away. If I haven’t been in that situation before this run would have went a lot differently because I wouldn’t have maintained decent dps in the beginning while also looking for adrenaline opportunities. It is unfortunate because this run could’ve significantly faster if I could’ve gotten it procced in the beginning (like sub 3 faster maybe) but 🤷🏾♂️.
