2.22 I live in Northern California, and I swear I saw so many of those punched tin decorative trays. Maybe about 5 or 6 and some serving bowls with lids. Weird.
@@meepenjaap7999 I find it fascinating what there’s a plenty of in each part of the country. I sell so many brass things to people on the coasts. I’ve been told it’s harder to find there. ☺️
The "little boy blue" is a dish for baby food back in the 50's or 60's. The hole is there for pouring warm water in (I think a cork came for sealing the water) to keep the food warm. :o)
Lovely finds today! I think you may have overlooked something interesting. The hand mirror that was by the rolling pin is either Bakelite or celluloid from the 1920s-1930s. It was part of a vanity set. Not of huge value but it sells around $35. Also the child’s plate is from the 1940s. They were filled with hot water to keep the food warm. Again, not of great value but around $30.
Jade I was out thrifting on Friday as well, and I thought to myself I wonder if I might run into you and Joshua today. And low and behold I did at the Goodwill on 84th St. I did say "Hi" down by the end of the aisle of the wood things. I didn't want to be like "Jade" I watch you all the time!! And Joshua being like Mom who was that crazy woman?🤣😂 That place was BANANAS BUSY!!! I have never seen it like that!! More than a reseller or 2 in there. I agree it's one of my must stops for thrifting ♥ Happy 2025!
I love that one on Ruggles! It was the first thrift store I hit when I moved back and I scored a black vintage Pyrex casserole dish with snowflakes on it, with the lid. No chips or cracks on either one. Their prices there are usually great!
That fleur-de-lis patterned bowl is an Anchor Hocking chip bowl.. it comes with the brass hanger and matching dip bowl.. I have sold one in the past.. they range from $45 - $65 for the complete set.
@PeachandOliveVintage no thrift store. They close early though. I think at 4. The thrift store supports their mission and training programs. It's one of my favs .... Not sure I should have told you! Ha ha.

Yay a new thrift video! Hey just curious, what's your opinion on vintage and lead? I just got into thrifting and I'm wondering if I should use thrifted items as my everyday dinning items if I haven't lead tested them... or should I just buy a lead testing kit? 😅
I have been enjoying your vids so much. I was watching a another one of my faves and a notification popped up that you posted a new video and I clicked on yours immediately 😃I have shared your channel with all my my family and friends. I only wish I had a larger family and knew more people to SHARE your channel with. I know you’re channel is going to grow quickly because your content is fun and informative. Your running commentary is fun funny and real. I don’t like to watch voice overs, though I know it is sometimes necessary due to music or noise. I love feeling like I’m getting to shop along, and you do an amazing job of doing that. I get to see things and go places that otherwise I would never get to

Murphys Oil soap to clean and linseed oil to oil
