    Kanami & MISA have the most intense lead/bass conversations ever so i'm happy they allow us to hear them speak :)

    I saw them May 2023 in a 700 capacity club. It was like seeing Led Zeppelin in a coffeehouse. Unreal. Every bit of the performance energy you see in this video is what they do for every single audience.
    When you finally get to see them live, be hydrated, stretch beforehand, and wear comfortable footwear. It’s a workout! Jumping, fist pumping, shouting, cheering, dancing, laughing and clapping nonstop for two hours.

    Yokohama Arena, Japan. About 15K people. I've been to the last two US tours. Awesome shows, but they haven't had any mosh pits yet.

    They dont do nosh pits because old people and children also attend their shows. There is a vid where Miku talks to a girl I judge about 10/9 who cosplayed as Miku...

    • @daaaaaave
      @daaaaaave 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      It’s one of the hazards of having kind of a throwback sound. Band-Maid really speaks to an older generation of rock fans that’s been jaded with a lot of contemporary pop and stuff.
      It used to be wilder. One time Miku got hurt getting hit in the face with a mic stand or something, and they had to adjust the policy for attendee conduct.

    Have you ever seen those guys in Guitar Center, who were trying to look cool? These Ladies show them how it's really done. (If you know the reference extra points for you)
    No, Band-Maid is "Hard Rock, but they include all other genres. From Classical, to Jazz, Rock to Blues, Southern Rock to Hip Hop. These Ladies use it and create their own unique sound.

    The band have discouraged moshing since Miku was injured in an accidental collision with a crowd-surfer and Saiki had to shut the show down.

    The lyrics were inspired by a married friend of Saiki who's husband cheated on her during the pandemic. Saiki was not amused! This from the final show of their 10th Anniversary Tour at the Yokohama Arena in Tokyo, Japan. I was at their serving in Denver and a mosh pit tried to get going, and the bouncers put a stop to it pretty fast. Really not needed or tolerated at a Band-Maid show.

    This band may play some of the hardest rock and metal, but whole families go to their shows where girls dress as maids etc- so no moshing I'm afraid. There really is a mutual love affair between the fans and the band- who watch reactions like yours and note what fans say. This is appreciated by the fans that show them the most respect. If you get some hate comments, it won't be form Band-Maid fans but from fans of other band's trying to give us a bad name- like theirs. You know the one's.
