They all delivered excellent answers. The judges did consider all aspects of the competitionand Thailand must excelled and eventual winner.. There is no right or wrong answer. The q & a is a measure of intellect ,confidence and poise under pressure.

@@goddovisitacion9010 I don't think so.He speaks both Thai and English fluently and he never struggles with his vocabulary unlike others who are not native English speakers. He expounds and narrates well when he speaks.

The question is phrased very vague, I myself was confused if THAILAND really answered the question. Being articulate with speaking in English doesn’t necessarily mean he nailed it.
He said that he believes that it is "a duty for men" to serve country and to be responsible for serving the army will build a safe place ....

@@peempimasiri4588 because it doesn’t create a safe space… it creates more war and teaches men to fight… Thailand should consctibe men into healthcare, politics and education. Something that will actually help the country

I think all the questions were answered correctly. and it is my opinion that Thailand's response was not only correct but studied. Like he already knew the question and he prepared answer well... but at the end of the day it's a competition.
Well that's all assumptions. Everyone answered well, but Thailand is on another level. He's is such a good speaker to the point you think and suspect he already knew and studied the questions. LOL! Let's not discredit his win.
@@dreamboxcollectibles73 no one is discrediting his win. He had conviction and he performed well. But a true winner goes against the rules they fight for change. They don’t submit to the rules of their own country. Conscription into the military is a RIGHT. Not a DUTY. It should always be a choice and an option not a mandatory course that only promotes war. It works for many first world countries. Thailand should follow suit and that’s what he missed. Thailand will continue to force men into the military because he agreed with it. It was his moment to make a difference and he wasted the opportunity
@@Rom3r0 different countries different sets of rules. It may be a "right"to some but it is a "duty" to others. His answer is not wrong because that is what He believes in and He made a valid point. The question is not whether it is right or wrong.

He just focus on payment rate for women is now less than men and think that it should be the same between them. How can he left LGBTQ behind in 2023? And why he think the payment is more important than human rights for all genders (not only men and women!), there are so many issues that he can pick as his answer.

@@tycogar God knows. Personally I don't think it has any cheating but I notice that many questions are popular problems that get discussed by Thais. Does this make him gaining an advantage over others? Even though in this round Thai pageant might not nail the question, in final round I think his answer is the best (as I remember).
Although I don’t agree with Thailand’s answer (I personally feel it should be a right and not a duty to serve the army), I do appreciate how articulate he is and held his opinion very strongly. He deserved the win. Congratulations Thailand 🇹🇭

I still disagree with what Kim responded with. In this day and age, conscription into the military should be a RIGHT and not a DUTY. Every person, man or woman should be able to choose whether or not they want to join the military and not forced into it. It should not be a mandatory thing for anybody because as much as the military brings peace into our countries, it also promotes the act of war. Teaching people to fight instead of make peace is insane. What Thailand should promote is an educational system that promotes inclusion, peace and diversity. The military is merely a distraction to the bigger issues countries face; political corruption and a failed education system. It is sexist to make it mandatory for men to join the military. They should be able to choose to join or not to join. Period.

This is the problem for all pageant. I wonder whether these judges understand English. I ❤ Mr. Thailand from the beginning but in my opinion the best answer was from Venezuela and Brazil. It is not always about how you deliver but the content should matter
Brazil is the most deserving,physically and intellectually
Venezuela's answer is very weak for me. The question is about gender equality, but his answer was only focused on men and women. I think he can win easily if he just picks one issue that related to basic human right for all sex, including LGBTQ+.
For Brazil, his answer was in between yes or no. He said it ok if you feel good but concern about crossing the line between cultures. So it is not clear if he answer yes or no for international legal for sex workers
I actually thought Brazil will end up as 1st runner up. His answer was a bit better than venezuela in the final round. If only he managed to wrap it up in the 20 pr 30 sec time frame.

FYI The Thailand version is the legit one. Last year, the Philippine version's winner (Mr India) is just the 1st RU of the Thailand's version's winner (Mr Dom. Rep.) & it's now their 15th year. The one in the Philippines is only their first.

I’m not from Venezuela but I think Venezuela was robbed. He performed the best on and off the stage. He was consistent all throughout and had the experience from previous pageants to solidify himself a spot in the top 3. He answered eloquently and did not submit to his countries rulings. He used his heart to voice his personal opinions. He did not follow others, he stayed true to himself. He should have won. Yes Thailand had more conviction in his responses (and maybe that’s why he won) but did not answer the questions correctly the way Venezuela did. William Badell would have broken boundaries, used his platform to change misogynistic views on pageantry and paved the way for young boys to be allowed to be flamboyant and masculine at the same time. He responded with truth, honesty and from the heart. He had so much fun and mingled with every contestant and those who worked behind the scenes. He is my winner.
Thailand submitted to his country. He said it’s a duty to be a part of the military just because his country forces men to join. That was his chance to come out of his shell and go against societal normalcy. It was his moment to say, that joining the military should be a RIGHT because no one should be forced into DUTY. Men and women should get to choose what they aspire to be.
Venezuela's answer is only focus on men and women and left LGBTQ behind. He should aware that the question was about gender equality in 2023, not 10 years ago.
Although Thailand answered that he agrees to serve the army, but it actually has a big conflict issue about conscription in Thailand society, so it doesn't mean that everyone agrees with him, but it is acceptable when he explained this as a world issue that is happening all around the world.
@@peempimasiri4588 the problem is Kim mentioned the issue but never made a choice on how to solve the issue. Yes, it’s a problem all over the world, which is why his job was to make it not a problem… and how is that done? By giving people the choice to do what they want and not forcing them to join the military against their deep wishes
@getzromero2909 I think that will be beyond the question. It's only 30 seconds. The contestants have to answer their question by hitting the point first and let the audience use their knowledge for some small details. People should know that the concept of the military is to protect countries and keep peace, not for invading or starting the war like some countries do. I don't like and never join the military, but I know that it is impossible to tell the world to stop having your army and just living. The important issue should be stay strong with the true military concept.
Thailand should be free to make a choice for his Q&A. The judgements should come from his explanation, not because his choose the same choice to you.
On the other side, Mr Venezuela also only said what it should be, but how? He mentioned that the payment shouldn't depend on sex, it should depend on blah blah blah.... It is true but it is a basic fact that everyone knows, the reasons for many countries to do a different payment rate are more complicated and can't be solved by giving a single simple concept that everyone already knows. However I didn't expect him to go into detail because it was also beyond the question for 30 seconds to answer. But the big problem is the point in the question about "sexual equality"
@@peempimasiri4588 the difference between both answers is Venezuela had a solution. As basic as it was, he was solving a problem.
And yes, you can say military brings peace to its people, however it truly doesn’t. War doesn’t create peace… having a military only promotes war. And that is a fact. No matter how many times you spin the earth on it axis, the military is there to fight an opposition using force and violence. There is nothing peaceful about that. What Kim should’ve said is, “no conscription into the military is a RIGHT because the military does not always constitute peace. In fact, it promotes war. Instead, we should redirect conscriptions into healthcare, politics and education because those are things that uplift our fellow humans and provide humans with the ability to help others instead of going against each other.”
A lot can be said in 30 seconds and in those 30 seconds he used it to submit to the rulings of his own country and submit to the concept of war. It’s like you’re teaching kids to learn how to fight against each other instead of save each other… doesn’t make sense.. the only reason he won is because he had conviction in his response and he said what the Thai people wanted to hear. A true winner goes against the rules and fights for change. There was nothing different about his answer. Thailand will continue to force men into the military because he agreed with it. He should’ve gone against it because it has worked for many other countries. In Canada, in the USA, in Great Britain, Australia. These first world countries don’t force men into the military but rather they give them the option and the choice to do so. Granted, these countries have their own issues, but forcing people to do something they don’t necessarily want to do is actually quite inhumane. Why provide people with “freedom” if you’re going to force them to do something they don’t want to do? Conscription into the military is a RIGHT, not a DUTY.

Military is not the cause of war.But it is necessary to prevent your country in case of war happens and return country back to peace. Most countries in the world have military but live peacefully, right? Because the military is not for invasion but keep each other in their own borders.
You just have bias for his answer because he gave a different opinion. Unfortunately, the question is about opinion. It depends on how the contestant gives the answer to hit the main idea of question, not audience’s opinion.
And Venezuela’s answer is just only the fact to support his topic about payment. He said it should be equal, payment shouldn’t depend on sex but qualification blah blah… “that’s fact”, everyone know$ this fact but someone doesn’t follow. The solution is how to make them follow the concept that they already have. So just to say “what it should be” doesn’t mean this is a solution. Again, it is not the problem for me about this issue. The important point is about the word “sexual equality “ in the question. It was not enough if he gave the answer to cover only about men and women, it is not in a sense of “Sexual Equality “ anymore. He may be the winner if he gave this answer in 1990s, not 2023.
Pity, Mister France the only can't speak English. I don't understand why in France many people from old to young can't speak English. Also, they should represent qualified mister who speak English even not fluence.
