Trevor, the only people that make no mistakes, are those that never do anything. And hopefully you will keep them as customers for another 30 years and it will have paid for itself. Great show as always

Don’t beat yourself up, customers and relationships are hard. If they don’t figure out what you did for them you are probably better off without them anyway.
I can’t sell my hay either so I feel you about this year.
Your videos are never boring so don’t waste your time thinking about that. You’re honest and your heart is in the right place. Great job. Oh, and someone loves you!

When you leave an alfalfa stand for seed do you take any cuttings off for hay that year?

I have a dumb question 🙋‍♂️. I’m not a farmer nor do I live around farms. I enjoy watching farm videos and appreciate what farmers do to keep food on our tables.
Anyway my question is, does every hay field whether it is alfalfa or grass hay have to be seeded every year? Or will it grow back on its own? does seeding give you a bigger yield a.k.a. More bales per acre, just curious

No, but as the field gets older the productivity drops, and needs rotated to a different crop

Just a suggestion, consider doing an interview with Don Neese, maybe a ride along with a Zanjero. It would be interesting to see where and how you get water.

When on average do you do your first cutting?
When on average do you do your last cutting?
Questions come from MN where we have that really
    short growing season!

Uummm. Early March for first cutting. Late November for last. Sometimes December. But for average, March and November.

Also don't worry if a video is going to be "boring" or not cause farmers like you, MF and welkers are making farming transparent to people who are not in the AG industry and only listen to the news playing some interview with a person who has never owned a farm let alone worked one tell everyone why modern farms are bad
