Maddy Gowers Maybe she wanted to keep the rest if the house private. I mean most people rarely invite guests to their bathroom or bedroom... let alone the whole internet :D
I like her place, it's simple, not oversized, and the stuff she has in it are classy and meaningful to her. Would have liked to see more of the house though.
🐢🐢🐢 die , like any other animals. So , nothing wrong to receive a dead turtle shell. No cruelty here. Tons of people live and utilize homes of deceased human beings. And no one is hurt.
this is a thinking space. i love this, it is so much like her. A beautiful and cool peaceful rich space and not ginormous and wasted like so many celebs houses
It's nice to see A list celebrities living in every day homes or apartments like us for a change, instead of giant mansions with a lot of wasted & empty rooms.
😃 This November 23rd will mark the 10th anniversary of when I met my favorite actress, then and still now, Julianne Moore! By the way, the movie that contained her Oscar-winning role, was partially filmed at MY school-Queens College!
All those celebs having great pianos that "the kids play in here sometimes". Yeah I practiced my piano skills on a 80 Dollar Casio and even though I'm playing music now for a living (well now not so much anymore) I'm still working on one day having my own real piano to practice my Rachmaninov. Maybe when I'm 40. They don't know how privileged they are and what miracles they could to themselves on masterpieces of craftsmanship such as a piano, if they practiced. I really hope they at least read the ten thousand dollars worth of books they own.
Can you just slow down and actually allow the viewer to see each room? Jeez, it is as if filmed by a goddamn fly! She is an amazing interior designer and so I would love to be able to marvel at what she has done instead of being induced with a headache. Rant over.
Definitely not a horseshoe crab, wrong shape for that - it's the shell of a soft shell turtle, which have much flatter and leathery shells than the types of turtle you're probably thinking of.
I always wondered what would happen if you would go to visit celebrities in their apartments? I don't live in US so I don't know but I can't figure out how they manage to keep their privacy in a city apartment? I understand they can do that in mansions outside of everything, but how they keep privacy in the city ?
turtle shell? i think its a species little older than that living at the american eastcoast (north). looks like a stingray crab mixed with alien but they are peacefully (horseshoecrab). i think there was a campain back a while ago where you were advised to flip them to their feet if you saw one on its back (shell) because they were or are very rare and endangered. (sry for my english...german mothertongue)
Yes, it is definitely not a turtle, but a horseshoe crab. Sad that she did not know the difference since she claims to be such a fan of turtles, yet the horseshoe crab looks nothing like a turtle.
One thing a absolutely can’t stand about nyc apartments is that with all that expensive stuff they are filled with, one wrong move and it all will crash into pieces. Forget about the kids. There is no room for anything.
Julianne's friends have excellent taste in bric-a-brac and Julianne displays it with aplomb but we didn't see all that much of what appears to be a beautiful New York home.
Its very chic and well designed and simple however I prefer a more lived in classical intellectual taste. More old things, more things passed down, more books, more personal meaningful possesions.
i liked the part where you didnt show the house, ON ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST
internet person lol!
Exactly, we saw close to nothing :D
😂 RIGHT? I love Julianne, but this was such a disappointment.
LOL, seriously WTF was that?!?!
Wax baby we see. 😌😊
I love Julianne Moore! Her style and grace are echoed in this cool space!
This living room is lovely and all, but I feel like you should probably show a bit of the house on *Architectural* Digest....
Maddy Gowers Maybe she wanted to keep the rest if the house private. I mean most people rarely invite guests to their bathroom or bedroom... let alone the whole internet :D
Exactly!
@@marianna3253, you don't let your guests go to the bathroom?!
toilet yes, bathroom not really, unless they're staying overnight and need to take a shower, brush their teeth etc.
@@marianna3253, the toilet is in the bathroom for most people, especially if you live in a flat
I like her place, it's simple, not oversized, and the stuff she has in it are classy and meaningful to her. Would have liked to see more of the house though.
There's not much in NYC that's oversized, even for a celebrity.
Cannot see anything. It is a glimpse
They want you to buy the magazine.
I thought this video was lame.
The wax babies under glass...... creepy
Some of the paintings are also disturbing...
Well she is most known for horror movies
Hell, yes.
@S Suwandi He he ok *roll eyes*
This should’ve been titled, “Just A Glimpse “ 😆
amazing how small it is to other celebrity homes. makes me appreciate her even more. you dont need lots of space. just the necessary. xoooxoxooxo
I WANT TO SEE MORE!!!! Why is this so short??
but MOORE is more than MORE!
It’s so interesting to see women’s preferred decor and men’s preferred decor but she totally went against what I would have excepted. I love it!
Unique actress. Your role in the movie Still Alice was amazing. You really deserve an Oscar
Moore DID win an Oscar for 'Still Alice.'
@@marlonmoncrieffe0728 of course she won an Oscar! And as I said, she truly deserved it. I keep track of every Oscar award.
@@ivanabiskup9476
Maybe you should have written, 'You really deserve YOUR Oscar.'
@@marlonmoncrieffe0728 i thought it was implied. Ok, but whoever writes that one is wrong. Let it be:
" You really deserve your Oscar" 👍
@@ivanabiskup9476
...What is the difference?
one of the classiest women on earth. What it must feel like to meet/know her in person. I adore JM.
I love how she talks about the things she like!!! I totally relate to her in that way... not the house (sad) lol
Right, not the house. Not impressive at all to me.
valvacious oh... Well, I like her house, I just cant relate to it cause mine isnt as big hahaha but I get the passion part ;)
LOL
I like turtles..."so here's a dead turtle for you" ...wtf.
🐢🐢🐢 die , like any other animals. So , nothing wrong to receive a dead turtle shell. No cruelty here. Tons of people live and utilize homes of deceased human beings. And no one is hurt.
@@cameliap1146 How many homes incorporate the actual bodies of the deceased?
I felt exactly the same
nice backyard for ny townhouse. btw, you show us only her living room, and she talks about her favorite stuffs instead of architecture of her place
Julianne Moore and Viola Davis are my favourite actresses!
My favorite actress ❤️
Same! I love her!!
Mine too!
And I even got to meet her ten years ago!
Gorgeous outdoor space, and I dig the aesthetic of the indoors, although I could've done without the baby.
I liked the baby.
@@stevie68aMe too.
Beautiful and yet very personal.

Sade Life1015 I’m sure this isn’t her only home. She probably has an LA mansion too, at least.
Never EVER rush Juls through anything. These were the early days.. you're much better now, AD.
Love the name of coffee table maker, Naka Shima.... great coffee table, too!
Very personal and great space!
Very very artsy and unique
I’m so glad these type of videos got longer
I love new york it is lol everything is from some far away land, nothing matches but still does well very elegantly. Nice work
Humble home. Love it!!!!🥰
It would have been nice to see more of her home .....
Nice jobs,thanks share
where is the tour?

“A lot of shapes that I like..”
Me: gurl that’s a foot
HELP THIS IS SO FUNNY
Baby under glass, a big foot on the coffee table?? Nahhh...
Very cozy
uhm i was expecting architecture, not interior design or furniture.
who cares about architechture if you have JM in front of you, hello?!
Beaver Hausen my thoughts exactly
+Beaver Hausen great answer!
well it's a townhouse
me, too!
i love that she has all this minimalist black and white art then there's that foot
Lovely home. Lovely Julianne
Poorly edited. We didn't even c the FLOW from the living room into the kitchen.
whoa,,,,
that was soooo short!
I love her style and home.
Nice Florence Knoll sideboard!
Imagine living in a house previously owned by James Badwin is pretty damn cool.

Rich people buy expensive things, big news.
@@BlueSky-tw6iq a piano is hardly expensive. My parents were low middle class and I could afford a piano, in NYC no less.
maybe they're not privileged, and ur just poor?
if this is the full video, how short is the teaser?
Oh yes. The rooms we get to see are a combination of comfort and class. Happy days from me!
Celebrities own some weird shit.
Very weird - turtle shell and wax baby!!!???
Well that is what life is all about, variety of things, common and not so common. Good for them that they do have different stuff than the normies.
The best of all videos
Soo many pieces I would love to have for my place ❤️
I would love to see her skin care products 🥰💗🧼🧴💆🏼♀️

same!!!
LOVE HER !
This was an odd tantalizer because we want to now actually see the house and how it's done.
The text takes multiple times to read. Why?
Is this a preview? :D
I love love love this woman.
Exquisite
Love it all. She's great
Julianne kudos to you for knowing who James Baldwin is. 👏🏾 yes girl.
The wax baby freaks me out a bit.
Couldn't really like anything in that living room... the foot ? The baby in the glass... yikes.
i agree!!!
AD has nothing to do with to do with architecture, just a silly Kardashian, Moore, Cloony, celebrity rag with a leftist agenda
i dont think its a turtle shell. its a fossil of a horseshoe crab max.
I think it's the bottom part of the turtle shell.
Definitely not a horseshoe crab, wrong shape for that - it's the shell of a soft shell turtle, which have much flatter and leathery shells than the types of turtle you're probably thinking of.
I know they're probably ridiculously, wildly expensive, but I like the NY celeb apartments because they're small, like mine
John Darian... JD!! Scrubs flashback for a second, lol
Fantastique. Towhomes in New York City.
Beautiful ❤️
It looks like a mall room, sterile and boring I imagine when u enter that place you don’t feel cozy, you feel like window shopping.
She was great in" pretty woman "my all time favourite.
the links lizard that was Julia Roberts
Hahaha!

Please do one with Emma Stone please💜
I'm not diggin the baby or the foot; but otherwise, it was really nice. Would be good to see a bit more tho... the garden space looked great!
Why is this weirdly blurry
That is the shell of horseshoe crab not a turtle and the baby in the glass case is just plain creepy.
Right about the creepy baby, wrong about the shell; it IS a turtle.
Julianne is so very lovely 💞
how can someone be so nonchalant around a $70,000 table?
No me gusta el negro, aunque estoy rodeada de muebles oscuros...pero lo orgánico del lugar hace pensar que es un LUGAR cálido y acogedor
I like her. Down to earth.
Rich woman with a simple town house I like .
It’s probably $10 million , get a clue
I thought this was the intro but then it was over

So basically you showed us one room.
Sooo, kitchen and living room only. The wax baby creeped me out.
Cool turtle shell
Got a very bad vibe from seeing her "things"......
what style of decorating is this? Can anyone tell me ?
That is eclectic with a touch of Boho shabby chic.
it's a very cool design that she incorporated crystal ball, raven, wood element... but a wax baby? that's kindda creepy.
Can anyone tell her that is not a turtle shell but a *Horse* *shoe* *crab* *shell* ??
how do you say you "love" turtles and then want the skeleton of one, murdered, in your house?
We don't know that.
