This was so easy to understand!! I learned how to do a layer mask for a mock-up in Photoshop about a month ago or so but had no idea what it ACTUALLY does. Now, I’ll be able to use it in Procreate and know what is actually going on. I’m going to try the clipping mask, too! Oh, the possibilities!

Hi can i ask something um i dont have clipping mask idk i just pressed everybutton on the layer now i dont have cliping mask how do i get it back?

Hi Lily. Are you running the latest version of procreate? When you tap on the layer and come to the layer options, is mask available? you can find more about masks here: procreate.art/handbook/5.1/layers/layers-mask/
