Every interview I watch with Mike as the guest, seema as if every interviewer always tries to poke the beast. I remember one interview, the interviewer askes Mike if his previous rape charge would push some fans/viewers away. @gayJesus69 have you ever seen the movie Blood&Bone? The opening scene is what I imagine Mike Tyson, the heavyweight champ in his prime, would do to anyone in prison.
Mike is amazing. Politely stands his ground, explains himself and even apologizes (for no reason, just to make that extra step of good will). He handled this interview A+. Such a smart dude with a beautiful vocabulary and life experience. The way these anchors treat him is a bit insulting.
Respectfully, I disagree. I feel like they sensed he was exhausted, and they were concerned it was reticence to do the interview so they shut it down out of deference to mike. I thought it was classy. If you watch the interview they handed him big open questions he gave one word answers to. That makes an interview difficult, so it becomes a question of is he being difficult maliciously or out of fatigue, instead of assuming the “convict Tyson” was being malicious, they sensitively recognized they could be part of the problem and shut down the interview. Erica Gaines I guess we have a different standard of "intelligence". Please enlighten me on his unprecedented success.
You forget that I am a fan of Tyson, but to call him intelligent is absurd. Is it intelligent to use "big words" completely out of context over and over again? Is it intelligent to lose all of your money? Is it intelligent to say that you are going to eat someone's children? It is intelligent to be used by Don King and Robin Givens? Is it intelligent to take a woman into your hotel room late at night when you know all of the predators out there looking to get a piece of what you have? Is it intelligent to bite a man's ear _twice_ out of frustration?
He was arguably the best heavyweight boxer of all time when he was in his prime. Smart? Don't think so.
Mike: it was sad when my daughter died
Dan: tell us about your cocaine addiction...

This is the most hilarious Mike Tyson interview I've ever seen in my life.

Yeah I picked that up, They also seemed to try and make him snap, Like they had a point to prove or something?
All in all it was a very strange interview, And those 2 interviewers are a joke
Thomas Beall must not follow Tyson at all. Through his life he’s been scammed, finessed, etc, so I’m sure he knows how to deal with these types of people by now.

If this was mike from 90s, this interview would be over in 10 seconds.
Haha Haha I know man , he would of told them to go fuck themselves . You could see the fire in him still though , it was like prodding a tiger very very gently
james Maillet DAM... What he say wrong?? Why you so angry?? Lol
I was 8 when he lost to Buster Douglas and I honestly had thought he was invincible. But in spite of all that has happened in his career since I can STILL say that he intimidates the crap out of me and I still find him genuinely scary and volatile. I honestly admire that though because he might be the last heavyweight to have that mystique about him.
Much like his fights.
I want that guy back but he changed
The guy on the left looks like Goggins in an alternative universe where he was completely useless.
I think Mike is just himself. Refuses to pretend for anyone. I can respect him for that.
Your message got 662 likes, which makes me wonder even more how sad it is you even have to mention that Mike is Mike, like there are no other people on this planet that are not themselves; having that said; there are millions of people around you that are themselves. Yet, they are the minority.

I freaking hate ESPN. They’re asking him the WORST questions ever. They were negative with mike. Mike showed patience, humility and humbleness when he said “I‘m sorry and forgive me’.
Negative Nancy
@Josephine Tracy he isn't on trial for rape, he's doing an interview about his book in which ESPN contacted him about. In addition, he served his time in prison decades ago for the "alleged" charges.
Rob Smith humility and humbleness
@Josephine Tracy yeah we should elect him into office.
Josephine Tracy he’s my idol
The interviewer tried to get Mike to lose his cool.
Every interview I watch with Mike as the guest, seema as if every interviewer always tries to poke the beast. I remember one interview, the interviewer askes Mike if his previous rape charge would push some fans/viewers away. You could see Mike mentally telling himself to kill this fool with words instead of physically doing it.
I couldn't imagine anyone in prison would have the guts to test the heavyweight champ.
I thought it was really a class move.
@@justinstout9483 i would agree but the middle dudes facial expressions showed otherwise

Mike tyson that was a well done interview. It's clear that these guys were in fact poking at him but tyson remained calm and apologized for no reason ... way to show respect and class
