Call me baby is what you would call the hit of hits for the last decade in kpop, it was a phenomenon! I live in the west and to this day the country where I live is still so closed and people dislike kpop but at that time 2015 this song used to play on TV over and over again!
This song also won 18 music shows and, if I'm not mistaken, this song was written and produced by Teddy Riley!
Yep Teddy Riley produced it and was one of 7 songwriters. I would say that Call Me Baby was one of two hit of hits that year - the other being Bang Bang Bang (Big Bang)

I love the dancing in this & the harmonies are so satisfying. EXO is such an amazing group. Stray Kids just did a cover of this that's great. EXO is so timeless. Lay does take the dancing to another level -- he & Kai -- WOW.

Call me baby is the first comeback that I participated as EXO-L😂 I knew them through 2013 MAMA perf stage and became a fan of them. And yeah EXODUS album concepts and teasers will always be remaining legendary cauze sm really put too much efforts towards that album. I remember how exo-l went through detective mode when the members solo teasers came out shooting from different countries and locations . Call Me baby had THE MOST music show wins among other comebacks of EXO and also all the tracks in that album are popular evento non fans .

Call Me Baby is a transition song between the EXO with 12 members and the current OT9. Even if Tao is here, this is the last thing he did with them, and he's not in the promotions. Part of the lyrics refer to the idea of separating the real thing from what wasn't real, and them being who they are because of the fans that stayed by their side when OT12 got broken.
