1980s Sindy doll - leg and hip assembly

How to take apart the hip and legs of your doll. Remove Sindy's legs, swap in tighter elastic, then reassemble. Tackle the tricky part of stretching and attaching the elastic band at the same time. See which tools are useful and how they are used.
If you are confident with taking the doll apart, fast forward to 5:34 to see the main tip - how to angle and hold the hips and legs to get the elastic in easily.

In another doll! You can also use 2mm cord elastic - thread it through and knot to secure.
