Pierrot more only has Black Clover and boruto in production along with an osomatsu movie. The game has been released so The team had to be split in half to animate cut scenes for it. The director himself came out on twitter and said he wants Black Clover to be long and continue to increase the production quality. The more popular black clover gets the more talented staff join the project

OP 5 V.1 was a good transition into V.2. The hype level is increased dramatically, the song truly fits this arc. I freakin love this show. Been here since the beginning and I’ll continue on with my fellow Magic Knights (you). We’ve only just scratch the surface of Blover!
Whether its from reactions or just my friends, every time they see the tease for Asta's demon form taking shape (1:16), there is literally no reaction. Mainly because demon asta is practically the mascot of black clover xD.
This anime has gotten so much better and people should definitely give it a second chance but I wish they put this much effort into the episodes instead of the openings because there are still quite a few places where the animation falls flat.

Different studio is doing it now not studio drop but it's still under pierrot.
Pierrot is still animating it, but since episode 51 they now have a production desk or something like that
