- In nature, the end of one creature’s life becomes a source of nourishment for others, and this cycle continues.

I would say try another male but make sure to slowly drip acclimate him to the tank. Pretty shocking going from a tank at a fish store to a blackwater biotope.
get a new mate
Idk how long the tank was cycled but sometimes adding leaves too early can cause random ammonia fluctuations and kill fish who cant handle the sudden spike
I'd love to see a natural paludarium. Any chances?
Get her a new mate the tank is beautiful don't change a thing👍👍
why did this video about a fish change my perspective on life?😭 like its a fish😭
Because fish are living beings. They are sentient creatures and just as deserving of life as you are.
yeah its just kinda funny lol
add a new mate. i really would like to see the nest.
Sigh...RIP Clyde. We usually aren't sure how old a fish is when it is sold or whether it just has poor genetics, so the death isn't unexpected, tbf. I liked hearing your comments on death and decomposition. This video had a poetic vibe I enjoyed. Subbed! I would like to see the experiment brought to the finish. Get her a new mate :)
RIP Clyde. Poor little Bonnie.
Video quality is exceptional. Amazing. Awesome tank.
Thank you!
This felt like a very beautiful documentary about life and its beauty, thank you for the black water tank set up, I loved seeing everything you did in this! ❤ best of luck to Bonnie and a potential Clyde II
Thank you so much! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🌿
Not only new mate but food as well cause as you see is not willing to eat it, and have to ask the previous owner or pet shop what kind of food they got, if flakes or tetra bits so you have to buy that one, fish is not like human that can change their food anytime
Do both get a new mate and a new fish
I would get her a new Male but also introduce another species that fits the invironment like a small group of swarming fish.Great Tank and pleasent Video❤❤🐟
1:15 is coconut goon cave
New mate! And +1 for your real voice someday. 😊
It is strange that Clyde died. Maybe he had some sort of disease or parasite when you got him. It is pretty unfortunate. You should try researching what kinds of parasites or diseases they can get and check Bonnie before it is too late since Clyde may have given it to her.
Clyde didn't show any of the usual signs of disease or parasitic infestation. What frequently happens with these highly inbred fishes is a lack of vigour and susceptibility to stress. Apistos don't live long anyway. About 2 years on average, more often less than that. Dealers sell the sunset and double red strains of A. cacatuoides once the males have developed their adult colours. They get more money for them that way. So Clyde was probably 9 months or older. He was also very thin. Having bred lots of apistos in the past, I can say that daphnia is not a good staple food for them. They are very low in calorific value and high in fibre, their carapace is made from chitin which is indigestible, so this is excreted. Chitin forms about 80% of a daphnia, so only 20% is useful nutrients. Apistos should be fed a varied diet with a majority of the food being protein.
@@majorbruster5916 dang that sucks what food should they normally be given?
@camillespencer9642 I used to feed mine on washed tubifex worms, bloodworm, white worms, ostracods and Aquarian carnivore flakes. During the summer months, I collected mosquito larvae, which they really enjoyed. I fed the fry on microworms which I pipetted down to them. Later on, I fed them on crushed flakes. Didn't have space for brine shrimp hatchery like a lot of other people. You can wean the adults on to frozen foods.
Nice knowing you Clyde, however unfortunately brief ♥️ yay for happy isopods! Please find her a new potential mate if the species calls for it for optimum fish happiness! If your parameters are steady, maybe shrimp would be fun 🤔🦐
It might be that female killed the male, happened to me once while breeding apistos, rare but possible
Oh poor Clyde😢 I really wish to understand why he died.
You should get a killifish like bivattatum lagos
new shrimps would be cool aswell
What is that spray you use after applying the superglue?
it looks like a movie made picture by picture and i like it a lot .
hello _goodbye from miami😮
Thank you so much! Greetings from Türkiye!
I would add a new male. Maybe it was an old one or it was sick. Have you checked the water parameters?
I think 40l are to small, because this species can get the size of 7cm. In my homeland it is not allowed to put fish in so tiny aquariums.
It must be 10 times the final size of the fish for the length of the aquarium. And three times the final size of the fish for the width. In my homeland less than that counts as animal cruelty.
Since you said, there was offspring, i would just let them be.
Maybe, too much tanins ...
I put my dead fish in shrimp aquariums, or where there are snails. Snails will do exactly what your isopods do.
New mate for sure
Get a new mate, don't abandon her...
Yes I would love to see you breed them so get another male
How did you get your tank to grow daphnia? I made my tank with lots of plants, no filter and no daphnia so far. It’s been a month or so. Water is very clear.
Buy from a store its live feeding like bloodworms,
You can’t grow it.. it’s a living being.
@@Iamaguienapig Well plants are living things.. and you can grow them. I understand what you meant lol
@@Nicolasb191getting stuff from the wild like rocks, twigs, planrs and substrates can introduce microfauna.
You can also get Daphnia eggs to grow or buy the Daphnia as live food if stores have them.
computer voice takes me a bit out of the video,
Do you really want to watch YT translate everything from Turkish?
This is one of the better AI voices at least, more peaceful like the channel name suggests.
@@AkbarZeb-p6f I see your point but the voice you chose just sounds a bit strange to me. Thank you for replying! I follow your content now because I love your tanks but I just play my own music mute the voice and read the transcript lol
you should definitely get her a new mate.
Amazing vid add new fish to it
I love this voice….so calming
He sounds so old yet so young
I think the best way is to get her an new mate. no animal likes to be alone
My dead after one week with no explanation . I believe this kind of fish need quarentene with some anti-bactetial before be released in the tank
add ricefish, they are great scavengers and small
New mate and small fish for the middle
Good video, but I see it too small. You should make bigger ecosystems.
Sigh. The mysteries of life and death... If me I'd try another male. Good luck!
Intro new mate for future offspring
The video is to short☹️
😢get her new mate
place several indostomus paradoxus there
get her a new one
What happened to the new Clyde??
He’s alive!
maybe lack of oxygen?
Nope. Oxygen concentrations need to be ridiculously low to kill aquarium fish. Besides, his mate survived. Also, the initial signs of hypoxia in aquaria and in the wild are of the fishes gasping and surface breathing for days before finally succumbing.
Superb
Ağaçlar ne acaba elinizde sağlık
Çok teşekkürler. Bahçemdeki kurumuş asma dallarını kullandım.
Get her new mate
get her a new male mate please
Can't watch videos w AI-voice
Same. I can hear the words but I have trouble understanding what is actually said. I have to pay extra attention and it gets exhausting. I think it's the lack of or misplaced enunciation.
New Mate!!!
😭😭😭😭😭
Get her a new mate
Get a new mate and some guppies too
Suggestions this is a beautiful video but the packaging of your video could need work. Like this video has potential to get 100,000 views if you made the video a I simulated a blackwater swamp for 100 days. And made the thumbnail something like showing day 1 of empty tank and day 100 on the other side. Other than that one of my favorite videos from you ever! Personally mudskipper video and the swamp video with the tetras are my favorite but this video is top tier ❤️
Put some guppies
Please put more different kind of fishes in the tank.
😂add some endeler gupps
Get a new mate bro
Get another male
Get a new mate, but other different than cacatuoides, other sub specie
Hate the ai voices
Remove that fish.Put one pair polar parrot.
She looks lonely & needs a new buddy. =)
