Merci pour votre reponses, Jean-Marc..en Anglais... I have also watched the video again and now understand: you are fishing over a "slack" with the main flow on the far bank. In Yorkshire we would fish the edge of the slack and the main flow, which we call "the crease" and expect to find barbel. In flood conditions we would fish the "slack".

Great fishing video, though the spot does not look too much like a barbel spot to me as the flow is too slow. Any reason why you cast upstream? Apologies for writing in English, parce que mon anglais n'est pas terrible.
