Mike - thanks for the positive comments. Regarding the wing - it's pretty fragile and starts looking chewed up after 2 or 3. Of course that's just a reason to tie more! This is one of those flies that provokes a strong reaction - if the fish are clearly keyed on minnows and active I might go with a traditional bucktail. But if its tough I'll opt for the magic of peacock and happily sacrifice a few flies in exchange for a few nice takes!

Very nice fly. Always enjoy your videos. I am wonder though how well the peacock herl, used for a wing, holds up after a few hits :)
