Disappointed not to see your Yard run with Steel scrap. You did it off camera. I always liked yard run part in your videos. I request you not to miss even a minor visit to yard or recycling center. I like your commentary about price fluctuations and other small titbits. I hope in Part 6, you will show yard run.
We made 3 Cups of Coffee during the Stripping - wow - that was soooo Great and You have now a little more Room in Your Yard and Garage - well You had Your Chicken Helpers as well - Great Video - we Love it and keep Safe and Cheers from us here in Loganholme in QLD !!!!
Great video as usual. So glad to see you making such good progress on your goods and making some space for future pick ups. This virus has been a kind of blessing for you, and no doubt there's not too many of us who can claim that. I've been working from home since April 1st and have saved a (not so) small fortune in traveling expenses. Take care, Poo
Loved the depopulating of the boards!! I'm not a newbie but I still love that stuff!! Hope you show some of your full hoard of Gold Recovery Items, like gold band crystal oscillators or anything gold recovery!! Have a GREAT Day My Friend!!!
WOW! Really good video! Covered ALLOT of stuff and good tips. If i could give you more likes i would. I'm in mid america and the yards here with the exception of one do not even pay for e-waste. And the one yard gives only 15 cents flat regardless of if the board is a motherboard or a powerboard. So i pick it all. I've been following you for about two years now. I started when you were doing 'coppah' ingots. Thank you!
Hey Ben, as a beginner scrapper I would like to see a video detailing how to spot gold bearing chips and stuff on boards, I’m still not quite sure which is a bga memory IC, eprom, and what it all means. Lol good video.
Hello Ben I am 39 years old maybe I have stertad to late but I follow your format of stacking and saving and processing I think its brilliant . thanks for your wisdom and knowledge and I live in Canada and in my city there are scrappers but next to no ewaste scappers
Great vid, very informative. Great to see how its all clearing up, and how all that stock is now giving you a reward. Cant wait to see the little pockets or piles of pcs and switches all disappear. Great job...keep safe
When are you going to do metal recovery vids? I'd like to know the best way to do gold, silver, platinum, and palladium recoverys. I know you self ain't going to do that yet, but i know that you know the best way to do those things. Many people is waiting that you open that Pandora's box. How cold is "cold weather" in Australia?
Great video Ben. Hope your lockdown gets downgraded and y’all can get around and get all the businesses back up and running. Would love to see the switches scrapped and that handful of PC’s on next video. Your content is always fun to watch and I always pick up some new info about scrapping. Take care... from North Texas.....BTW, Texas is finally bending the BEER VIRUS curve in the right direction..... hallelujah!!!! It is still not good, but we are going in the right direction.
Hello Ben, I was watching a video of a Canadian scrapper yesterday. Two days back he took his copper to the yard and yesterday he released another video with the title "Copper prices up. Time to strip my cable". Not suggesting anything to you. Know very well that you dont sell your copper. What I am saying is that if Copper price trends are same globally, it is time to focus on copper bearing material, in your case cables, copper heat sinks etc. May be next video, you can separate cable to be stripped and store it somewhere because you will not sell your copper. You can get more bang for your buck if you can process your midgrade and low grade and take to yard.
Hey Ben, when I first started to watch your videos I was one of those that thought oh my god, he could sell that for $$$$$ but after watching tons of your videos now, I understand the market over there and the logistics of getting the big stuff out to people. Plus I already know what a nightmare ebay can be 😫 Thanks for explaining it to us 🙂👍
I recommend you keep cat 5 and cat 6 cable separate from everything else. You really should get more for it than low grade, especially that low grade ribbon cable you had there. Those are 2 very different pieces of wire. Once I started to keep wire categories separated, I started to get higher rates for them all. If the ratio is more slanted toward the data cable, with less cat 5 included, you'll get the lower rate for it. At my yard in California that means the difference between 0.40 cents and 0.75 cents per pound.
Hi Ben been watching your scrapping videos have learnt so much so thank you.You probably have covered this but what Cisco servers are selling at the re-sellers. They say to take photos of what I have but moving so many is an issue for me as I have had major surgery and I am having trouble lifting and I just moved them but where I moved them isn't a great place to take pictures. So I was wondering what I should do . If they aren't worth much I will scrap them but before I do that I need to know how much I could get before I decide. Thanks Ben keep the vidèos coming 🤑😁
Hello from Indiana USA, watching you remove the fingers from the boards had me thinking, have you thought about using a sheet metal hand seamer to remove them? It looks like it would be more efficient and easier on your hands. Just a thought. Love the videos and keep scrapping!
There are some nice decorative boards ive got some myself i would love to have the 4 cpu motherboard when i open the new office ill make a nice circuit board wall
I recently discovered that there is a PCB refining company 45 minutes drive from me. Pity I didn't know about them earlier when I had a load of computers from an old mate.
Omg ben your missing out. Those little yellow things you said tgat you dong bother with are the best of the best mlcc. They are just dipped. 10 times better if not more then the regular mlcc. 😆 they also come in blue colour. Love the vis still but will watch the other half tomorrow. 😪😪
More fun than a barrel of monkeys? ... a barrel of CPU's 🤣 One of our common viewers commented that my garage was looking a lot like yours. After this marathon, I'm going to have to get to work cleaning mine.
50:00 i think you destroy old gpu pci . i have question you destroy 3DFX too ? in last years ? its debility . and 1:17:16 destroy colectible board . 286 pci think
Hi, i wanna ask you, how good will be for gold recovery an Hp Proliant Ml 370? Someone wanna sell 2 of them for 50 Euro, and i wanna know if they worth or not.
Do you have a Karat Test Kit? Since you have quite the spread of cpu types, i would recommend you take a look at those pinless CPU’s with it. There will be variance but I’ve tested and watched video’s on other people who have tested the plating on them and IT IS GOOD. Yes the amount of gold is less than on pinned CPU’s, but the quality is very high. Get a kit and check yourself. Cheers mate 👍🏼
Forgot to mention. You are wearing an orengy or yellowish sweater at the depopulation table. Recently I watched one of your videos made 4 years back and noticed the same sweater. :) It must be very good quality sweater for you not to be scrapping it 4 years on :)
He is in the garage! Yay!!

Congratulations on getting back in the shop. I hope you are enjoying your accomplishments, that was a lot of work. Thanks for the video.
Lots of fun.

I hope I live long enough to see you actually recover the gold.

1:36:47 wrong type of fingers to scrap! Lol😂
Just putting it out there but is ur depopulation station past ur wifi range?? Or is it on the edge of your wifi range and under roofing iron
Thank you for the videos.
How are the mid grade boards still good if you break off the gold fingers?

Is it worth it to pick up in street scrapping remote controlles?
Why you consider copper dead weight?

Don’t you have to remove all those heat sinks to get a high grade on those boards?
I have been lucky enough to personally be connected to a group that buys boards even before I got into e waste.
I wish I knew about the dip switches before I threw out about 300 of them 🤦🏻♂️
How do I know if a ram is 8gig .. where on the ram does it say 8gig?
It'll have 1gb, 2gb, 4gb or 8gb on it somewhere sometimes just 1g, 2g etc

I am always so excited to see your notification from yt, that u will educate us on scrapping even more, then u had.

hard to say, we go by weight, maybe .25 euro per kg max
