I wish Jada didn’t make him lowered (ride height) KITT has higher clearance. Other than that everything looks great! Picking this up when i see one. Another nostalgia trip to the 80’s growing up on this show. Great review PvP!
Considering that your main audience is mostly Transformers fans, it would be useful if you compare other products to a familiar TF figure for a sense of scale.
This particular KITT is 1:24 definitely bigger and bulkier than your standard deluxe class Autobot. Jada does make a 1:32 scale of their Hollywood Rides line and they match up beautifully to Deluxe class from Siege and Earthrise. The 1:32 scale doesn't have the LED function. Same goes for the Back to the Future DeLorean. So you gain some and lose some.
Well if you like Hot rod, you'll have a close go one. But KITT is Mattel. I would want KITT as a repint to hot rod. Also one of my family memebers almost got KARR but left it.
I own one too, my trunk won’t hold on it’s own, to activate my light up gimmick I have to just open the driver door and I will light up for 11 seconds and only if the doors open, if I close it it shuts off
This is a change. Normally PrimeVsPrime has toys months before I see them on shelves. With the Transformers section barren for weeks at a time, I also to a stroll down Die cast alley. Jada really struck gold with this Hollywood Rides line. Thought I prefer the 1/32 scale to match with my deluxe Transformers over the functionality of the larger 1/24 scale. It's fun having KITT and Tracks cruising down the lane. Or KARR trying to sway Optimus Prime to evil. Or Drift race against Initiial D's Trueno
I do have KITT (and KARR) in 1:18 scale. They have LED light on the hood, all doors open, sky windows are removable, I think working steering wheel, reclining driver’s seat, “ejecting” shotgun seat (springloaded, it shoots 3/4 mm up) and the whinch on the front of the car.
Heck yeah! Could be an easy retool of a future Windcharger/Tailgate. With Netflix Bumblebee showing Hasbro isn't afraid to add licensed cars to the regular line it would be a nice touch.

To be honest I have to disagree with you on this model - it is inaccurate and out of proportion, and sits much too low on its wheels. Another KITT model that misses the mark. I really don’t know why manufacturers have such difficulty recreating the shape correctly.
Is this the new Low Rider Knight Rider? Honestly, it looks kinda slammed to the ground imo. I'm gonna keep looking but this one looks decent for the price...
I mean I can see it, but he's actually a countach like sun streaker but heavily modified, and Kitt is a trans am. They share a similar headlight setup, but that's kinda it.
Don't like the low rider aesthetic. Not accurate to the show or the types of terrain (construction sites, offroad etc.) that K.I.T.T. often found himself in
Got this in my Amazon basket as I type this, along with a few other things, my wallet is trembling. Should be a nice addition to my small collection. There was a time I would have insisted on buying the best, 1/18 scale with all the high accuracy details etc, but I now just collect 1/24 scale and I'm happy with all those I own so far.
Having owned many models (including a 1:1 one that needs a new engine at the moment!) I'd say Jada did an amazing job considering the price and also highly recommend this car. Not a fan of the "slammed" stance all their die cast cars have but the black kind of hides it. Not so much on KARR however with the silver lower rocker trim paint. I do love that Jada did their best to create the "Knight Industries turbo-jet" engine. Most of these just have a standard Chevy corporate 305 under the hood.

G1 hotrod idk about that, Kitt is a Pontiac trans am, hotrod is more of a Concept car, and he doesn't have pop up headlights

Never liked any Jada, supposedly 1/25 scale cause it's not 1/24. It's more like 1/21 scale....
