O-H-I-O Porter greetings 🇺🇸. I think it adds such excitement when you can hear/read the background on a vehicle, especially a fine truck like this one! I’ve never heard of a truck being made without a speedometer, ever! They do some funky things on older vehicles & this about tops the cake for me. I really like it when something very unique is made for a certain model of truck, something that sets it above any other manufacturer. This guys must love KWs & trucks in general. It’s unusual that a truck will be restored so many times, even one that is worked as well. I agree that this truck would probably look better with a sleeper back on it, but I could take it either way. It is quite a beautiful truck. Love the bumper & fender setup/upgrade that he made to it! See, like I said, when trucking gets into your blood, it’s there to stay. I’m always glad when I see an old rig like this that has had so much love poured into it, especially if it’s driven frequently or worked some. Top notch job for a top notch truck. Wonderful!! 🥰🤩✌️
I love the truck , and I appreciate and love how much passion you Canadians have for old truck and just trucking in general. Keep it up and God bless ya
That Jim Deol keeps popping up in front of me for years now. Hope all is well Jim last time I was vouching for your Prevost and it didn't last long I knew it wouldn't.
I have drove that truck around a little bit never worked it but I was good friends with John he was a great guy hard to imagine it’s been over 30 years since he passed
A very nice old Needle Nose indeed, I drove a 1953 like that when I started trucking in the 60's. A lot of folks don't realize that although these KW's said Canadian Kenworth Vancouver BC the factory was in fact in Burnaby BC. I visited that plant many times over the years until it was closed.
6:52 This view on the truck with the hood open and fender tilted forward reminds me of Glen from The Walking Dead when Negan bashed his head in with a bat and his left eye popped out.🤣
Miss Flatbed, don`t know if you will see this but I would like your help. I`m an old friend of Jim`s from East Tennessee. Kinda lost touch with Jim over the years. Would like to get in touch with him. Thankful for any help. Randy Bounds from Strawberry Plains
These trucks were for work, not pleasure driving like a car. Make it look like it’s going to work, not church. Paint the top of the plate I don’t care, but the truck isn’t a car.
That was my favorite truck from the Athens show. Great story behind the classic. Glad you were able to talk to him.
I sold my 64 a couple years back and I miss it so much it breaks my heart. She was my everything.

Always loved these older classic Kenworth’s 💁♂️😉👍 Thanks for sharing. Kinda reminds me of the one that Darstrom has as well
Nice solution on a beautiful truck, I love it! Great video and interview as always!
Thanks! He did a great job speaking.

Very interesting hood/fender operation.

Sweet! What's not to like about this, the fenders are great. Looks like its ready to snatch a load and make some money.
Old school very metal
Looking good!
When I drove 359s , I always used to say that Peterbilts fit like a glove until I got in an A model Kenworth
Very cool
I'm in love 😍
Exelente camión 👏👏👏, toda una maravilla americana 🇺🇲❤️💪👏👏👏
that's cool
It's like a jinga,puzzle
Beautiful old KW
Awesome truck! I learned to drive on a 65 Canadian Kenworth, it wasn’t as nice as this one though.
Hi there I like the white FLD mine is a 1998 look it up. I have more videos when we start the project to finish. I am new on this bare with me
👍👍👍👍🙂
A good tractor like this is damn near unkillable.

Sorry, I don’t have his contact information :( I just met him at this show in August.
@@MissFlatbedRed Thanks anyway.
Hell I bet an A model Kenworth feels like trash compared to an early one like this beauty
Not really
Put a plate on it. At least ACT like it’s going to go to work. Beautiful truck but make it look like it wants to work
Did you even listen to the video? It has earned its retirement.
