Compared to the previous F4 versions I’ve seen, I like this one the best. There was so much character growth from the male lead, Thyme. It was refreshing to see him apologize to Gorya (female lead) in the earlier episodes as well as the last episode. I felt the last episode was a bit rush, considering the amnesia and going abroad plots were all included in it. But overall, it was an enjoyable drama. My first Thai drama actually and I like it.

This was probably the best adaptation of the Hana Yori Dango/Boys Over Flowers franchise. The cast was amazing, especially the main couple. Their chemistry made me feel like I was just looking at two people who are genuinely in love. Overall, this was a great drama. The redemption was great and the symbolism made this story so much better. I tried to show Thyme’s character growth by 1) his apologies to Gorya at 0:46, 0:50 and 8:13 and 2) his anger restrain at 3:04 and 3) his kneeling as an apology to his victims at 3:34. These are the reasons why I like the male lead in this drama the best.

In the Taiwanese version, it wasn't really obvious that F4 were older than Sanchai, they were all university students.
Then, for the ending, I don't really remember when exactly Dao Ming Se proposed to Shanchai, but I'm pretty sure he did propose.
In the Japanese version, Makino was only 1 year F4's junior in high school. When the story moved on to Makino's 3rd year, F4 went to the university that was in the same complex with the high school, so the dynamics did not change much. F4 hang out a lot in the high school to see Makino.
Doumiyoji and Makino got married after Makino graduated university and had a baby.
In the Korean version, they're also 1 year apart (if my memories serve me right). The final episode shows Jandi's prom as she danced with F3 at the ball and proceeded to meet Junpyo in Namsan Tower where Junpyo promised to be back in 4 years after taking care of the problems in his family business overseas. Four years later (Jandi was still a medical student), Junpyo came back to propose to her.
Basically, the story that was told on-screen seemed to span for 1,5 year (from FL's standing up to ML until their relationship was opposed to by the ML's mother). Then there was a 1-year time-skip (when they separated after being opposed). Then they met again and promised to be together again later (after 4 years of growing up a.k.a time-skip).
In a Kavin-Kaning edit, I saw Kaning mentioned she was not a kid because she had been born ONLY 2 years later than Kavin.
Also, in this edit, I saw Gorya wore that green uniform all the time.
Were they all in high school or university??
or were Gorya and Kaning high school students and F4 university students??
Here, it is mentioned that Thyme's forgot his memory of the past 4 years, did it mean that their relationship spanned THAT LONG in the series? So, after the time skip, they've known each other for, like, 8-9 years?
But it could not be possible. I mean, Gorya just graduated university at the end, right? (after the 4 year-time skip when Thyme went to the US). So, his previous amnesia (erasing the memories about Gorya) should NOT have been a 4-year-worth of memories of Gorya. It just doesn't add up.
I'm sorry if this seems trivial and unimportant, I'm obsessive about details because too many dramas cannot even create a logical time-line for their own good. It itches me a bit. Of course, if I cannot find an answer to my curiosity regarding time-setting of a particular drama, I'll eventually let go. Yet, if I get to find some explanation/ clarification in some ways, it really enhances the watching experience. I deeply appreciate that kind of clarity. ☺️

@@whenwetalkaboutnature4903 Thyme only forget his 4 years prior memory, not 4 years memory after he met Gorya. It means if he was 18 years old in this drama, he forgot the memory after he was 14 years old.

100% agree. I cried when I saw Thyme kneeling to his victim’s. I wish it wasn’t only him but all of the F4. This series, in my opinion, be really hard to beat. To me the story is not over and they need a season 2 or even a movie.

i really liked the character development of thyme. also liked the rest of f4 as friends and Lita who gave up Thyme even though she loved him. they showed good maturity of gorya and ren. even as teens they had to take some heavy decisions but in the end, they were changed for the better. i don't watch thai dramas but i had to watch this one!

I am in love with this drama...it feels so real and relatable...the character growth of thyme after he met gorya is why I love him💝...he changed to a good human being because he genuinely love and care for her🥰❤...the way he resisted himself to not use violence for solving his probs...the way he kneeled to the victims and apologized....the way he always tried to be with her even he had so many probs to deal with....this all makes Thyme special....
For me Ren is the perfect character🥰....but I really like Thyme growth, his love, care ,and loyalty....❤💝.....the way he waited for her to be his girlfriend....he never forced her to be his gf the day he wanted...but waited for her to accept him....🥰

this was so nostalgic haha already XD yeah the last episode definitely felt rushed, they should have kept the going abroad out of it I think, I would have really enjoyed watching Gorya be the one to chase and make Thyme fall in love with her again AND oh what a great first Thai drama! usually they aren't this well put together haha though I love them and we'd have some more sweet moments, but oh well. You lyrics text was very pretty and I loved all the voice overs and overlays you chose, just perfect for this kind of edit

This is truly the best Boys over flower Version to me cus the story was made more matured with more reasonable and realistic redemption and responsibility and even the 2nd lead male story was done better cus he was made to express what he truly feels.. that’s realistic and I all the more don’t have to feel guilty for not feeling any 2nd lead syndrome (I’ve never felt it in any of Boys over flowers versions😎) I like this version a lot..

I watched F4 in 3 drama first i watched F4 Boys over flowers in korea is the best and the second one is Meteor Garden in Chinese and the third one is Thai version and my experience say the F4 Thailand is the best i ever seen the love between them and they friendship and the love I can see in Thyme eyes for her love is the best i really love and the edit remember me every moment just love it ❤😍

How old is gorya and thyme r they the same age??
I’m not too sure about their exact age. But I think Thyme and the rest of the F4 are a few years older (maybe 2-3 years)? They graduated before Gorya did.
I felt like the Korean original was too toxic. I could never finish it. Is this the same way?
I think all the version have their own toxicity, even Jerry Yan’s Taiwanese version back in 2001. I just feel that this Thai version has a bit more character growth compare to the previous versions.
