@gay23ny honestly I think Hollywood doesn't know what to do with her or they're jealous. one just doesn't find a wealth of talent like hers anymore. It's as if she went thru the old studio system...yet she didn't. Quite astounding. An anomaly among all the no takent or far less talented hacks around her.

I never understood the love to hate for jennifer lopez, she is not the best singer, but she is a solid performer wether it's acting, singing and dancing. Between that and her other ventures, she handles her career and her business quite well.
The general consensus is that she can't sing and steals with Black female artists. The last part is really why she gets a lot of hate.

I was born in the Bronx. I was raised on Long Island. All of my relatives were in the Bronx. I'm talking of the 1950s & 60s. Jennifer described the Bronx accurately. Stick ball, open fire hydrants.
Karen and Lyle's wedding is one of my favorite moments ever on the show, so many layers to what makes it one of the funniest episodes, like Jennifer thinking of the wrong Rosie lol, and it features some of my favorite guest appearances like Tim Curry, and i often think of "JLo" as "JenPez" lol, definitely a classic 💖
