Chaos Hunter is doomed to die, no matter what he does, because no one knows they need to save him from himself. If he fights Exetior and loses, he dies. If he wins, he still dies. It's a pyrrhic victory, a victory so costly that they might as well have lost. Sonic's fate in this particular dimension is horrible. Exetior gaining control over Mobius is one thing, but those Highests are not going to ever stop screwing with the timelines. Essentially, whenever Sonic and friends finally achieve true peace, the Highests reset the world, because peace is boring to them. They want to be entertained. In other words, the Highests are like the Players, resetting the game and playing over again. Exetior doesn't like other people messing with his world, so he's trying to take it back.
According to SoH Diaries, Exeller keeps avoiding Wayne, and even one time he caught a highest doing prohibited act. Yep, some of the highests are total douchebags.

Firstly, Happy Birthday Kostas and JaizKoys! My nephew was born 3 weeks ago, so now you share the same birth-month as my little tomato lol. Anyways, in regards to the video, I do have a problem with it: The big explosions and flashing lights. In any future videos with those things, I recommend putting an epilepsy warning beforehand for those sensitive to that sorta stuff. I've never had a seizure personally, but I did have to turn my eyes away due to the strain on my eyes I was experiencing. Other than that, I do like Junter changing his look to match Exetior's; it remind me of Nightmare Shorts Episode 1 where the beginning shows Sark subtly changing his fur color from Sonic's to a more green hue. Now, I would love if there could be a way to help Junter with his mental health because of his schizophrenia. I mean, Pervision is a doctor scientist(I think) and as you said he can immobilize Junter, then Pervision could examine him in order to help him somehow. I know this universe is cruel and realistic, but both of us know Sonic didn't deserve such a fate... you understand?

If the Exetior part of him dies, half of his brain will shut down, and then his body can't continue operating, so his brain just turns off. You'd have to go into Sonic's head and untangle them first, before removing Old Exetior, otherwise Sonic is doomed. And since none of them know that, they are very unlikely to do it. In this video, even after Exetior realized he was fighting a half-fusion of himself and Sonic, he didn't stop trying to kill him, because he believed it was pointless to try to save him, because of how broken Sonic's mind was by that time.
