I've watched this vid a couple of times, and for every braid that you do; I've been trying to figure out how much hair should be added to each braid as you go. Btw, this is an overall question; it's not just for this specific style. I'm just tryna get a little bit more clarity. Really looking forward to ur answer, and this style is very beautiful; I love it. Your technique is really good 2. Thnx so much.
It depends on the size of braid you/your client wants. Braiding is all about feeling, you feel the size of the hair, if it's too big or too small then you make your adjustment. All there is to this is more and more practice and you'll gain mastery.

Jenny osborne ...so true. It's like some people can't u sweet and the ABC. Braiding is 95% of skills and by feel everyone tech is different. This video is clear as day to me 1st off. So whoever didn't get it or understand is not a BRAIDER....

You’re obviously talented! You’re braids are neat and precise! However can you talk through in another video? I only caught on when you were doing the last braid. I tried doing a braid after your video but it took an hour and wasn’t quite as neat! Needless to say I gave up! Thanks for the upload!
The hairstyle is popping but you didn’t really show how you achieved the neat cornrows. I would have loved to see you start the braid with some close ups
