I usually cut each strip at a 45 degree angle on one side. I don’t trim off the selvage on the other end. Then when I sew them together, starting with the angled end, I get one extra unit. I also use a strip of the background fabric and sew to the strip set on both edges. This makes a strip tube. I then cut the triangles out of the strip tube. I’m older and this method is easier on me. LOL
Im too used to doing the strip tube method and was momentarily confused. If you use strip tube method you work with way less bias edges ... This is such a pretty color way! Thanks for sharing!
