I feel like there's not enough sharing of how to make beautiful frame designs. It's like a wine brewing secret, so thank you so much for sharing with us.
I've been wondering how to make those pointy edges for years! Even with my graphic tablet it wouldn't work properly. And finally I bumped into this tutorial. Thank you!
Fantastic tutorial! Out of interest, if you don't mind me asking. If wanted to have the artwork without a background do I just skip adding the first black layer?
Andrey, I have one problem when I want to apply brush to my shape brush listens to me at first but with the next line, both shapes go on the same side. Tell me what I do wrong?
thanks for this tutorial. please, con you tell me how to do in order to make reflect of correctly. everytime i try to do it, i'm blocked at the level of TRANSFORM EFFECT.
hi i have tried to transform the object with X axis ....but it does not transform on the other side of the axis once I click ok. it transformed right next to my brush stroke. how can I resolve this problem. thank you :)
thanks for this tutorial, i am a beginner in adobe illustretor cs6 i have a question about this tutorial: are there any specific setting before starting to create and use brushes in order to make their correctly?
How did you quickly reduce the size (thickness) of the existing lines while drawing with a brush - I didn't notice that you used some kind of tool. Maybe hotkeys?
I hope so)) - illustrator, not shovel)) could you tell please how do you reduce thickness of existing path without going to menu? (I know the hot keys "[" and "]" - but this is just for brush)
I tried to do this trick, but it does not work (for me) :(( if by steps I did the following: 1) draw a path with thickness of 1pt 2) draw a path with thickness of 2pt Let's say I want the 2nd path to be with the thickness of 1pt - so as I understand you, 3) I must select the 2nd path and holding the ctrl to click on 1-st path, right? but at the end nothing changed: tell me, please, what am I doing wrong?
As you described it - it works!)) thanks a lot)), I didn't know about this method (of course about eyedropper knew, then it is even better to use "I" key). But it seemed to me that you somehow changed the thickness of the already existing path - looks like I just imagined it but sorry...
