Nirvana 1991: "Take your time, hurry up, the choice is yours, don't be late" Blink 182's Adam's Song 1999: "I took my time, I hurried up, the choice was mine I didn't think enough"
Kurt Cobain was an intelligent man, and in a way it is not too hard to understand why he was depressed. Most smart people see the world for what it is and it's hard to truly relate your vision onto anyone else. There is a love and hate relationship with society (as he mentioned in his suicide note). Most people that suffer from mental disorders, anxiety, depression, etc, are usually talented intelligent people as Kurt was. His story is sad but at least he left us with awesome music.

“take your time, hurry up, the choice is yours don’t be late.”- come as you are “i took the time, i hurried up, i made the choice” - adams song, blink 182......
You would go bonkers if you knew how much music chords have been stolen, copied, and used differently. There are only so many chords and vocalizations one can do, even in the digital age.
It's a beautiful image of being given free will but only if it fits into someone else's time at their pace. Artists used to take however long a work took and it gave you insight into their experience. But as soon as commissioned work became normal the vision of the artist no longer mattered unless it was what the client intended when they paid for the work. So, you can choose to be an artist and tell your stories but as soon as you start producing for an income you lose the freedom of expression and the work becomes souless.

I believe so she didn't really get into much detail with it. She said they were bestfriends and he actually tried dating her. She said they grew up and had many memories.. I would understand why she cries. when I was younger I didn't

Lol for some reason I picture Kurt Cobain looking down and reading all these comments and thinking "Man, I wasnt depressed! Courtney was just being a total buzz kill guys!"
Kinectivity I guess you aren't a True Kurt Cobain fan because he did not kill himself as a matter of fact Courtney had him killed rest in peace Kurt we know the truth

But when I heard this song, and listened to it just once I fell in love with this song along with SLTS and Lithium etc. I feel so positive now! Thank you Kurt :)

He died at 27, I was 17 at the time R.I.P
So your 57 now
And i was 18 yrs old that time and tbh I'm on my way to buy the Never mind CD but unfortunately suddenly I heard an announcement at the shopping center telling that the lead singer of the famous boy band NIRVANA has committed suicide!!! What a news!!! I'm soooo devastated!!! And sorry for my bad English
I was -1 years old lol
I haven't even been thought of when he died :(
I was 10 years old at the time
People who know what real music is must be listening to this song in 2018
shereen banu me
real music never dies
Music is just patterns of sounds.
Only dubstep isn't real music.
Here here, rock n roll will never die.
Yes...an this comin from someone who grew up on rap
The chorus line: x 3 "Memoria- Memoria-Memoria" to me all way's sounded like : x 3 "Never be young-Never be young-Never be young". Am I the only one that hear's it that way ?
I'm so happy that my family listened to this when I was a lil kid, I grew up listening to Nirvana and I'm still here, listening to Nirvana. that was my first song I ever heard of Nirvana and it's really amazing song♥️🤘🏻 Nirvana helps me a lot with mental problems
27 years later, and I remember that Friday night when the news broke out...
It was later found out that Kurt Cobain indeed had a gun.
That too very big ( shotgun)
It was also discovered that he didnt know how to use the gun
Or Courtney did 🤷🏼♀️
Stfu
No shit sherloc
it doesnt matter what age you are, you cant dislike nirvana! how the hell did unlike?!
גילעד בן שוע I'm 13 and I like nirvana so ya

The instruments are insane and Kurt's voice is of an angel
Am I the only one laughing that the description says "My Myspace"
Nope 😂
Oi..... this is MYSPACE.
You read the descriptions on videos? Tf?!?
haha 😂
Jesus, I think even in 2007 Myspace was dying.
the guitar solo part was awesome 😍
Kurt Cobain YES
Same
I will always listen to Nirvana and mourn the loss of Kurt Cobain.
My favourite Nirvana song. So welcoming yet slightly dark sounding.
Lol for some reason I picture Kurt Cobain looking down and reading all these comments and thinking "Man, I wasnt depressed! Courtney was just being a total buzz kill guys!"
+Tommy Stone Even though Kurt did kill himself, I still found your comment hilarious.
Kiliel ship So I should kill myself for a joke that didn't even insult?
+Tommy Stone Courtney did not kill him it's proven that she's was in rehab at that time
+MADVIKING19 that was the cover up, she was also sleeping with her detective, then went off to rehab. Then kurt died....
Kinectivity I guess you aren't a True Kurt Cobain fan because he did not kill himself as a matter of fact Courtney had him killed rest in peace Kurt we know the truth
My dad listens to this a lot so I thought why not try it and now I can’t stop listening to their songs
Same
Cant relate
Nirvana is #1 on a lot of lists in that era for a reason, good music is eternal.
I just fucking love this song O.O
Same here! I've been blasting this song non stop for the last couple of days!
+Ramiro Ramirez nice profile picture
Thanks! lol I like your name :D I named my cat Sophia because it means Wisdom >:D
Me tooooo 😊😊😊! Reminds me of my mom! She loved the grunge music era!
+Elizabeth Snyder I like turtles..
listening to nirvana for the first time in 2019💕absolutely in love.
Maybe Kurt had an acid trip where he saw his own death ... then wrote those lyrics beforehand to let us all know that he wasn't the cause of his own demise ...
Anthony Sommers Mind blown
Anthony Sommers yeah, but if I'm not mistaken, he was a heroin addict...
WHITELIVESMATTER KKK but he didn’t die of an overdose? He was murdered. Wait. Sorry I’m wrong it was “suicide”
R34P3R813 you can't be physically addicted to lsd
Alec Martin I think he was murdered
come as you are
come as you are
come as you are
Come as you are
come as you are
Nirvana:Take your time hurry up the choice was yours don’t be late
Blink182:i took my time i hurried up the choice was mind i didnt think enough
@purified Redemption blink 182 probably did it as a reference to kurt cobain's suicide, as the song "adam's song" is about suicide
@Poodonkis14 lol, the endless cycle of stolen comments
Michael Swick ‘this choice was mine, I didn’t think enough, I took my time I hurried up’
This is such a tune. Watching now in quarente to get all the stress of me!
The irony of 1:54 - 1:58
I know, right.
***** And also sounds fun how Memoria sounds like I'm dying in spanish.
sombrio12 memoria means memory and me moria is in english 'i was daying' you're probably a hispanic speaker and so am i, i just felt like telling you this technical things xD languages thO
His best friend went out and got him that shotgun when Kurt asked him for one... Despite his friend knowing Kurt was severely depressed and going through a hard time with drugs, Courtney actually seized and took away the gun Kurt Cobain had beforehand.
One dumbass friend who instead of calling Kurt's family or other friends about the request is why he was able to shoot himself.
ErgonomicChair Yeah i think that his friend was an complete idiot buying him a gun... I also just dont understand why people Shoot there heads off because there mad...
I Started singing "If you want any lyrics video..."
me too
LMFAO
IM LAUGHING TOO HARD RIGHT NOW BECAUSE SAME!!!!!!!!
XDDD ME TOO OMF IM DYING
I dont get it
I wish people would come as they are
60s music, 70s music, 80s music and 90s music will never die. 🎸🥁
The riff he does with guitar when he says Memoria reminds me of water idk why.
Watch the music video. Almost like water, but with sperms :P
probably because you're high.
TheToastedBanana Lol
TheToastedBanana He's listening to the sound, fuck off you stupid you tube troll
if youd like to know the reason why, search up the music video. lmao your welcome
one of my favorite groups
Nirvana was the 90s. Can't deny that.
Nah, only a bit of the 90s
Well rock n roll 90s.
Now that I agree with
yea what about movies though?
+SteamKing2160 rage against the machine. tool. korn. sublime. the offspring. Alice in chains. pearl jam. those were good bands.
I was a baby and a toddler during the nineties. So I didn’t listen to this song back then. I’m glad I found it now.
I'm not sure if its just me, but whenever i listen to NIRVANAS song i feel like im gaining back my confidence. I suffered from panic attacks and severe social anxiety, even worse i got so depressed that i feel like I want to kill myself. But when I heard this song, and listened to it just once I fell in love with this song along with SLTS and Lithium etc. I feel so positive now! Thank you Kurt :)
What's with all the comments like "I'm only blah years old and I listen to them!" Awesome. No one cares how old you are. Enjoy the music and stop advertising your age before you get some kinda stalker after you.
I jam this song 5 thousand times a week . 💯🔥😩
Its 2020! Lets end the trend of asking of whose listening in current year for God's sake! Music like this is timeless. People will be listening to this song 500 something years from now!
