Places for rent all leasing companies. There isn’t a shortage. Maybe for students in the college area I don’t know anything about that but outside of that plenty of rentals.

several years ago I paid 650 then a couple years ago 800 with some good roommates,. but they wanted us/me out bc they were "renovating" the other apts as ppl left,.soo after the renovation (which should be done any way) they where asking 950,. the problem is ppl on the coasts are now moving inland, they have more money and now these renter are not stupid,. they will keep raising it like an auction, its sick bc it squeezes the "middle class" down,.but we live in a toxic capitalistic society,. just look what happened to the mid-sized banks recently,.

Buy your own home. Don't complain because people work hard instead of gaming and hanging out at Starbucks.

Rent is growing but wages are not, this is the issue. And to say you’re catching up with the nation, try catching up with wages. Recent reports showed that the average renter needs to earn $19.00/hr to afford a moderate 2 bedroom and that isn’t happening.

The truth is rent is not going up as a result of inflation. Its what is helping to drive inflation. The price of maintaining and managing these properties hasn't changed enough to justify 50% as high as 80% rent increases. This is just bandwagon greed.

Greed is always the reason! The excuse of Market rate is a bunch of bull. We don’t get raises market rate raises on our checks.
