Hello, this is Teppei Terada. I am 5th generation potter live in Seto, Aichi, Japan. My speciality is Oribe ware. Somehow, premier chat has been closed down. If you have any questions, I would like to answer it here for a while.
I wonder if you're open for opening a class for doing pottery. The ones that are a few days long are good enough for me as a foreigner who will only be in japan for a week or two. Would love to visit when the pandemic is gone
Today was a very stressful and challenging day for me. As I watched you in your studio and tending the fire of the kiln I felt the stress evaporate from me. I feel healed and restored watching you create. thank you
@@teppeiterada236 I love that the energy we use in creation stimulates our own personal energy to shift, the brain waves shift and we find ourselves in a beautiful space. I think the act of creating is both the giver and the gift.
Wow... This craftsman has captivated me. His creations are so beautifully asymmetricals, so delicate.. As he says at the end... you can see a little of his heart in each of them. I loved their ritual, the oven!. It was a great trip for those crafts!!...je. I was wondering about you!!: I always look forward to your videos. Thank you very very much to the craftsman and for you. Till next Time!
HI from Atlanta, Georgia. Your heart makes the most beautiful pottery. I loved every single one. I look forward to more videos of your creations. Earthy and absolutely a gift from you and Mother Nature. Thank you so much. Peace ✨
Thanks! His kiln is original one. In the description below the video, there is a technical book about the kiln his father publish . Please take a look❗️

Hello, thank you for your wonderful work. Please, can you explain the "wabi-sabi" concept in the art of pottery ?
It is difficult to explain in one sentence. Anyway, it has a big influence on Japanese aesthetics🙏

Is it when he is making shapes? Sitting on the ground is a traditional style in Japan❗️
It is our old and traditional style of wheel throwing, but not many potters do this today.
Thanks for sharing your gift!!
The perfection of imperfection..wabi sabi. Beautiful.
I think so. It is sophisticated🙏
