    it’s understandable how hesitant you are to his music because of how he is portrayed by the media, however, after knowing his true intentions it’s clear that he is extremely misunderstood. yes his old actions can easily make someone believe that he has a massive god complex and ego but recently he has realized that he could not find true happiness in himself and this world so he turned to God. whether you are christian or not it is clearly amendable how he has found true peace in his life and given up his old ways of living. i know you said you probably won’t listen to any more kanye music but i highly recommend you do so. some songs similar to this one are runaway, ghost town, violent crimes. runaway especially, is a musical masterpiece that encapsulates his struggles and also portrays his perception by the media. hope you check them out and great reaction !

      So right. You really have to understand his mind set to understand that the media betrays him so wrong. The man really is a genius with 1000s of ideas in his head at once. Also yea they should react to ghost town or runaway, perfect songs as well as this one

    People don't seem to understand how bi-polar disorder affects people and their personalities. I almost guarantee a lot of Kanye's TRUE feelings and perspectives are found in his music where he has time to formulate and feel out his own emotions. When I look at Kanye acting out in public, I see a lot of the same characteristics that I see in my bi-polar father. My dad is much better at formulating his thoughts and feelings through writing, and often goes through similar manic episodes where he grasps for any sort of control. He gets overwhelmed, and responds in drastic and irrational ways, and later regrets his actions. I bet Kanye is very similar.

He is one of the most creative minds of modern music (He's changed the sound of rap 2x by himself by introducing new sounds, production, and technique). But I think that we all get caught up in celebrities, we speculate and gossip but ultimately none of us know exactly what's going on in their lives. There are complexities and nuances we will never know so I don't pass judgement. He struggles with mental health and social media has seemed to be his outlet for those emotions during the divorce. I would dare to say that this is a common thing for everyone. Don’t expect to understand someone you never listened to. The media’s story of Kanye is very different his own account he has given through his art in ways that are always if nothing else prolific and honest to his perspective. Listen to both the haters and Mr. West and decide where the lines are for yourself. Kanye is one of the only artist that wants you to do that

    • @DAMmusicshow
      @DAMmusicshow  3 ปีที่แล้ว
