Amen, I am not a religious man but when I heard this on a whim on my system (vinyl) the other night, I was on the verge of tears yelling at my stereo "unbelievable!" Praise the Lord!
Every guitar player should watch this video from time to time....to remind themselves that they cannot, in fact, play guitar.

I understand technique after playing for 56 years and I live in Santa Rosa where Julian is from but watching him play so effortlessly, gracefully, moving the song along, I'm starting to think he may have come from another planet or not completely human. Go kid!

Sounds ridiculously great, and Julian rules as always.
I love that finger slap at 1:19. I had to watch it a few times to notice that he transitions the pick to his thumb and ring finger so he can slap with his pointer finger, then transitions back so quickly and smoothly. Like a magic trick, super smooth.
Actually he missed the harmonic there, but still: Julian is a blessing!

Julian is truly great, I’ve heard him on so many recordings and love his writing and improving. He came out to a show I was playing at in NYC - man did I ever get nervous when I saw him sitting there. I played like a lifeless robot but managed to get through the show. After the show, the trio all went out for a bite with Julian. What a sweet guy.
One more thing... that Collings sounds f#%king amazing in Julian’s hands.

You can give Julian a $5 guitar and he'd make it sound great. Regardless though, Collings guitars are the best in the world. No doubt about it.
Hmm... I'd agree that Collings guitars are among the very best acoustic flattop guitars, but... BUT, there are some other amazing flattops. Ever play a Bourgeois OM, one of those with a torrefied top? A Santa Cruz Tony Rice model, or one of their small-bodied guitars? A Martin OM-45 is awfully sweet, as are some high-end Taylor guitars. And when it's all said and done, "best" is entirely subjective -- at least that's my opinion.

we call Collings guitars 'Lawyer Wood.' Players can't afford 'em.
Don´t think so. It's perhaps the equivalent of giving the best marathonist a pair of sandals and ask him/her to run a marathon. He might be able to, but he won't be at his best. So a good pair of shoes do help.
