CORRECTION: The party starts August 9th (not 3rd) and runs through October 31st. Tickets go on sale May 8 for resort guests, and on May 15 to the general public.
I'm hoping to bring my family for our first time this year! This looks so exciting! Thank you for the tips!! :) This would be our very first WDW visit!
Hope you get to go. It's a super fun way to celebrate Halloween with the fam. Let The Vacationeer know if you need help planning. Our planning services are complimentary. vacationeer.com/youtube
I was in Disneyland during the spooky season last year (didn’t go to Oogie Boogie Bash though) so getting to go to DisneyWorld this year AND got tickets first thing this morning for Not So Scary is absolutely overwhelming!! So definitely need all the tips! We are going during September!!!
You are going to have a great time! Glad you were able to grab your tickets early. The one thing everyone under estimates is the heat. Dress cooly and drink that water!
Were going for the party, ive heard to get there to get in early at 4pm but what time should we get to the line? will there be a huge line waiting to get in at 4pm should we get there at 3:30? sooner or later? Thanks!
There will be a line similar to rope drop, but it goes SUPER FAST. There are no official party things happening until 7pm, so you won’t miss anything with MNSSHP. That 4pm entry is really just a chance to grab a bite, a ride, or hop in line ridiculously early for Jack and Sally.
Thanks for the info! Going end of September. Wondering if there is a good place to try to watch shows/fireworks for a vertically challenged person 😂 I’m only 5ft and it’s just me and my 4 year old going to the party!
I’m 5’1” so I feel your pain. Make the show your priority and try to grab a spot close to the stage. Immediately following you should be able to turn around and grab a spot for the parade. Later shows have lighter crowds, but with a 4 year old that is harder.
Photo pass is always a great addition to your trip. Its the easiest way to remember the night with quality photos at all the phone spots they only have during the party.
My favorite part of Halloween time at disneyland is the haunted mansion holiday, I'm curious if you've got an ahead of time few sneak peaks on the haunted mansion holiday attraction
We haven’t gotten any news or invitations to preview the reopening of the Haunted Mansion area at Disneyland. BUT we are fraught with anticipation and hope to bring you news as soon as we get it!
Typically, only Be Our Guest and Cinderella’s Royal Table are open for sit down reservations during the party. However, you can typically grab a reservation for the others through the 5 o’clock hour.
The best way to determine options is to review the menus on the app. It’s the most comprehensive list. Luckily mobile ordering even has it broken down by food allergies or preferences. You won’t be able to know about the specialty snacks at the party until they release the menu a couple of weeks before opening of the party.
Older children receive the most benefit from the party. However, many of the events have at least one show by 10 PM to make it more palatable for young families. My suggestion would be entering at 4 PM with your party ticket to still make the most of your day and not stay too far past bedtime.
My family and I are going on Halloween night and surprised tickets sold out already. Can’t wait to experience this. I wonder what’s best tho? To go to Mk the same day we go to the Halloween party or another day?
Going to the theme park in the morning then staying till midnight would be A LOT to tackle. Taking the morning off to enjoy your resort is my suggestion. However, if you did decide to do both, I suggest starting with early entry, then take a break in the middle of the day before returning for the party.
I am attending wdw in September, in your opinion is it worth it to attend? Disney adults no kids. And we only have from 7-12. Do you think it’s worth it if you’ve never been ?
If you are a Halloween lover, YES. Be sure to focus on the halloween entertainment and treats specifically. Parades and stage shows take place back to back, so you can hit the major elements in a small amount of time. If your goal is to also fit in a lot of attractions, this particular party may not be worth it.
@TrulyIris Yes it is worth. I went for the first time last year as a solo adult. I loved it and plan on going twice this year (hopefully). But I agree with @TheVactioneer. Focus on the party exclusive entertainment and the treats. The parade is amazing and worth seeing. Also have a plan in place it helps in the long run.
Many of the character meet and greets start a little early, but not all run the full length of the party. If meeting Jack and Sally is a priority for you, I suggest entering the park at 4pm and hoping in line then. Or swing by to visit characters during the first parade and stage shows while the crowds are focused there. Fingers crossed, the lines should be lighter then.
Okay Thankyou i will be attending august with 3 toddlers and before i go i want to make a schedule for us so we dont waste time on any lines so we can make the most of our night
Are they not doing Pirates overlay anymore :( I used to love the actors that were in the line, and the actors on the ride who talk to you as you go by! It was so cool to see that ride interact with you, heckle you as you go by, scare you and warn you of the ghost stories in line. I always enjoyed that but last year they weren’t there :( I had hoped 2024 would have them
At this time, it doesn't look like they are bringing it back. But Disney is never done with making announcements to keep us excited, so never say never. Fingers crossed.
There is a good chance they will offer a virtual queue similar to the day time. It has been offered at other night event in 2024. Tickets guests will have to try for it at the designated time that day.
Hi guys I have a problem with the site and I can't buy the tickets for the not so scary, when I click on the calendar to see the dates, it reloads the page by itself, can you help me?
October 6th!! My daughter is going to be toddler Riley, my husband is going to be Anger, me Disgust and she's going to carry plushes of Joy, Sadness, and Fear
If i purchase a not so scary halloween party ticket only can i still enjoy rides with the 5pm early entry or do i need a separate magic kingdom ticket ?
CORRECTION: The party starts August 9th (not 3rd) and runs through October 31st. Tickets go on sale May 8 for resort guests, and on May 15 to the general public.
We really want Ernesto de la Cruz to come to Mickey’s not so scary Halloween Party!❤❤❤❤

I’m going on August 13th.

Where can i get the paper map before arrival?
Paper maps for the party aren’t available until you arrive.

Regarding also the reopening of the haunted mansion in 2024
That’s not Disney World! That’s Disneyland! Difference remember!
Please if possible I'm sure many of us would love to see a video from you on the topic
