This is great, thank you for the education! Quick question you’re original design and wax is now gone because of the metal copy that was made correct?

Yes, that is correct. You can choose to use the lost wax casting process in which case the wax master will be gone, or you can choose to have a mould made - in which case you could recast the same ring multiple times. The wax master would still be gone however. Hope that helps x
