We love the tiny house for those exact reasons! It is so peaceful here and we just feel like we belong here, something we were really missing in the van! Thanks for watching and for leaving us a comment! Hope to talk to you in the comments of future videos! -Cody
I loved the flip/flop back n forth at the beginning. How fun! Having community is so important in this day and so much of that is lost, especially when living in the country. The drone shot of the property is just so beautiful and you all have your own space and room to do so much in the future. The tiny house is my pick, but I may be just a little biased!!
@@katyp5914 they truly are!! It was the one thing we just couldn’t find/overcome on the road! That’s also the longest we’ve ever been away from family and friends, our entire lives! Thanks for always tuning in! -Cody
Hi you three cuties! The beginning of the video made me dizzy hahaha, so cool! Thank you for this interesting video. My dream is to travel in a van throughout Europe. I have done only so far several trips from Slovakia to Sicily - GOREGOUS!!! Every season of the year is just stunning. So hope to meet you three one day in Europe! :)
Of course being home is better! Living in a mansion on an idyllic but isolated island is much less fulfilling then living in a cave amoungst the people that you love! So grateful that you did it, done that, will always own that, a hard earned dream you made come true - and you and the van will travel again, but now it is your time to build a new dream, a new adventure. It makes me chuckle that Cody, the snowmobiling, skiing, snowboarding geek complains about winter. Just goes to show that it is a challenge! But I am sure that all you love at home are grateful for your return. Cannot wait to see what you do next!
@@MaineExplorer we’re definitely loving the tiny house now that it’s not so tiny! Also helps that it’s summer time and not trying to live in this space while it’s freezing outside! Lol
This was very interesting. A very thoughtful comparison. I would love to hear more about the compound. Not to invade anyone's privacy but does everyone live in a tiny house? Do you guys own the land as a group? I think living on a compound sounds awesome. My husband and I and each of our two daughters own their own home. We have thought at times what if we sold our homes and created a family compound.
Truly the dream setup! Especially having an adventure vehicle to escape the winter months here in Maine! Thanks for watching and leaving us a comment, we appreciate you! -Cody
That is truly the dream scenario for us! A little 2-3 month get away from Maine to warm up during the dark cold weeks! Thank you so much for watching and leaving us a comment, we appreciate you! -Cody
Can't do the comparison. People choose the van life because of the mobility. You can bring your home to everywhere with you on the road vs. a foundation home.
@@springwaterusa2195 we did the comparison after living both full time! Two completely different life styles, just depends on which fits your life at the time! It took us 7 years to save up, buy the van, renovate it, and then travel for 10 months straight and we don’t regret that for one second but we’re glad to be back! Thanks for watching! -Cody
I can only do that for so long before I start losing my mental health but van life truly is amazing! Waking up in a new environment everyday is unlike anything else! Thank you so much for watching and leaving us a comment, we're always here for you! -Cody
We sure do!! That's on the list for our renovation series(although right now we don't really feel like we need that extra storage up there)! Thanks for the suggestion and we hope to talk to you in the comments of future videos! -Cody
The tiny house. I like the peace of mind of a place that is stationary. It’s a place to relax, unwind and come back to when traveling.

Can’t beat the compound! So happy to have you guys next door again ❤

I would pick the tiny home. I think it looks.so cozy. Love the addition. ❤
I loved watching your van trip, but my favorite is the tiny home❤

Tiny House is my pick. You can always do trips in the van but not long term.
That’s our plan going forward! We loved our adventures but really missed our community! Thank you so much for watching! -Cody
Both, have a home base and travel when you want.

Summer in the tiny house, winter in the van (in the south)?😉
