    O my God,the dome of the pantheon is just unbelievable, I was speechless for a few seconds and filled with awe,it's an architectural marvel.

    Thank you for this. Over the past few years, I have revisited time and again. It's as close to being there as I can be. What a wonderful feeling to turn that corner and see the Pantheon!

    I love all the sights, sounds & feelings from your beautiful videos. I feel every step of the way. I did your walks with my son, but in reverse, in 2018. The most etheral place on Earth!

    I proposed to my fiancee at the Pantheon. I will treasure the memory of asking the big question at one of Romes most stupendous stuctures. It is truly magnificent.

    Stunning. I live in southern Arizona. To find stone so solid and then quarried is quite a find. I've thought about creating stone to achieve such things as the Pantheon. Plate tectonics has made an uplifting of our areas. What 'we' exist on used to be sea floor. Consequently there is a lot of calcium in our waters/water table. I've considered that for our children's children to exist in health and for infrastructure to require less maintenance/replacement it would be a good thing to contract policies of perpetual distilling of water AND THEN to take the brine and put the brine in abandoned open-pit copper mines. Allowing the brine to evaporate leaving the calcium and other salts (providing the coloring in marble) for a civilization at some later time that might see the wisdom and beauty of what Rome is. The Pantheon is stunning. Egypt's contributions are also miraculous (the columns).

    These walks are great. I appreciate the street and plaza names, plus the informative subtitles. Many walking videos don't have subtitles so you never know what you are seeing unless you have been there.

    Thanks for the silent video and some info on the screen. For a person like me who never had a chance to see this in my life, this walk through almost like a real one. Keep it up 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

      Hey Bill, These Rome walks were all done on October 21, 2017. I've been trying to get back up there to get some more video but the weather was been pretty bad the last month or so. It snowed here yesterday and today!

      Great videos, as I have said before. I went to Rome for the first time in April this year (2018) and fell in love with the city. I have booked to return in October 2018. The weather we had in April was gorgeous. Red hot, clear, totally blue sky and fantastic.

    I cannot understand how the Roman craftsmen could produce such quality and finish without modern electrical machinery assistance , how did the shape and smooth the columns .

    Thank you for taking time out of your travels to shoot, edit and publish these videos. How do you navigate the crowds so successfully? I would think that you'd be getting bumped into constantly yet the videos are always relatively calm and bump free.

    • @ProWalks
      @ProWalks  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hey, no problem. It's been fun. I enjoy exploring all the streets. When I walk through the crowds I'm always just looking ahead, planning my path and trying to anticipate where someone will be when I get there. I think I've bumped into someone twice. :) Thanks for watching!

    the pantheon used to be like four meters above ground, now the floor level of the pantheon is just barely above the street level.

    • @keandric2765

      Lol Literally what I was gonna comment. Can't even Imagine what it would be like in the height of tourist season 0_0 A tip I've picked up from following a Bunch of travel vloggers/ bloggers/ Instagrammers is to wake up Really early and go out and walk around in these really touristy cities at like 5am, 6am, ect. Most of the time you'll apparently have the city, historical site, plaza, whatever almost to yourself due to tourists not being up and about and tours not starting till 9am-ish..... haven't ever been able to try that tip out for myself so I don't know How well it works, but it's something I'm totally keeping in the back of my mind if I'm ever able to travel somewhere like this :)

    Great tour, but 'way too much spherical aberration. Wide angle's nice, but too much has that price.

    • @ProWalks
      @ProWalks  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Spherian, yeah I've heard that from a few people. I think some people just notice it more I guess. Maybe I'll try setting the camera to medium view next time and maybe I won't even miss the wide angled view.

      Prowalks + Thanks for your reply. Nice!. I want you to know I'm really enjoying your awesome tours. I use an Optoma HD projector onto a wall painted flat ceiling white. 8 foot wide image, and with your stuff it's basically life size. I am NEVER going back to any screen. Even a wide wide screen 4K is nothing compared to this. So, I will be walking in your footstep for a long time.

    To each his own religion. I am shocked that someone would try to force a religion on me that is nothing that I follow. I’m only interested in the living God of Bible.
