Such a treat to visit and recall the variety shows. Glad these individuals were able to offer their allies to entertain. I realize I won't ever meet them yet it is a pleasure to see them.
Thanks so much for these videos, Paul. I grew up watching this very episode on a vhs tape my grandma had recorded, and I absolutely cherish the memories of watching this show with her. Seeing this tonight has made my day.
What happened to quality variety TV like this and so many other shows? We now live in the 21st century in the 'vast TV wasteland' that was predicted back in the 1950's!
I'd forgotten how wonderful this show was. The whole family would watch after dinner and was a joy to laugh and be entertained.
Oh my! I'd honestly forgotten how much I love the Brothers Smothers!

It's wonderful to go down this road again. What fun.
“I liked the way she laughed. I didn’t like the way she pointed when she laughed, though.” hahaha brilliantly delivered. Tommy sure had the timing
It was a good show. Thanks for sharing!

I think Dickie really did an ad lib on the part when he remembered one more thing regarding the short fuse. Great wit & well played by both brothers.
This is lovely and very very funny! :D
Happier times!!
She said you had a very short.....WHAT? Fuse - such great comedy right there
Great

Our worlds has unfortunately change to the extent we no longer appreciate these great entertainers
Ahhh, we still appreciate them!
Such beautiful harmony, did they ever actually finish a song? Love them!
I think so on one of their records. Very old, had the "Less On" joke. I remember this from the '70s. K
They also recorded an album of Just songs, no jokes
They did a wonderful version of They Call The Wind Mariah.
Hilarious...short fuse
Dick looks like the boyfriend from high school, innocent Tom is so sensuous, not innocent!
These guys were a breath of fresh air . Too bad most of TV today sucks. And they could sing.
